Pear and powder from the fragrance pyramid tempted me, including the comments for a blind buy. That was probably the last one…
With disillusionment, I must conclude that the dominant bouquet of iris, rose, and musk, while elegant, somehow also feels boring. I am searching for the pear but cannot find it. Perhaps it is my skin that does not allow for this scent development. It does not suit me.
I associate the fragrance with a large blonde flight attendant with a strict bun and neck scarf. With each sniff, her image solidifies. She is in her early 50s, composed and seasoned, smiling with an air of aloofness. Despite the wrinkles, there remains a hint of how pretty she must have been in her prime.
An elegant and unobtrusive light, well-groomed scent wafts by during her rounds. Common fragrances are not her class. The well-groomed scent is perceived briefly, merging with her uniform. Like any other, she does her job kindly, yet remains reserved with a touch of arrogance.
One waits for the arrival. The flight is finally over.

The day begins with an extensive breakfast in one of the hotel restaurants, decorated in cream colors and soft earth tones. Upon entering the open space, you gaze upon bright, delicately sweet-resinous scented Swiss stone pine wood, white beige and dark brown sheepskins, elegantly upholstered wooden chairs and benches with perfectly coordinated cushions. Beautiful designer lamps made of Capiz hang from the ceilings, casting a soft light alongside the generous window front, through which you can slowly see the sun rising between the snowy peaks. A few candles in tea lights are also burning. It sparkles, and you immediately feel at home.

As Christmas approaches and knowing how much all the senses of the guests want to be addressed, a delicately and lovingly decorated Christmas tree is already in the center of this light-flooded and very cozy room. Some champagne white, silver, mauve… the larger ornaments are chosen in a matte but intense blue-violet, contrasted by shiny gold.

A beautiful large bouquet of flowers with irises, whose mystical violet-blue color is also reflected as a touch on the Christmas tree, beams at you.
The bouquet also contains a few cream-white roses, which only support the delicately bitter-sweet, powdery yet crisp-fresh scent of the iris in its leading role.

On a nearby table, there is a large autumn fruit basket with golden ripe pears. I take one. Pear-like soft and smooth. A bit of fresh fruit complements croissants and the fine hot drink topped with cream and a sprinkle of vanilla powder. Pure enjoyment.

After an active day outside in the biting cold mountain air, where the coniferous trees are covered with a thick layer of snow and everything sparkles with fresh powder snow, I feel vital and full of energy. However, I am now also ready for a relaxing evening in the wellness area of the hotel spa.

First, I press the button of the shoe polishing machine a few times. For the purpose and also out of principle and fun. ;) Again, a “luxury hotel-like” bitter-sweet and leathery-creamy scent rises to my nose. Wonderful… *sigh*

Once again, enjoyment at its finest: The muscles strained from winter sports are relaxed by the pleasantly warm, illuminated, and bubbling water. I lean my head back and feel my skin caressed all over by the steaming and fragrant bath.
During the subsequent full-body massage, my face is also pampered, as she gently applies the luxury cosmetic lotion to my cheeks, forehead, and neck with soft, circular movements. During this feel-good ceremony, there is a subtle scent of a rather unsweet pear cream. It feels both relaxing and invigorating. My face has been kissed by one snowflake or another since sunrise, which has tickled the blood into my cheeks. Now everything is cozy and balanced again, flowing smoothly.

And then there’s the scent when you blow-dry your hair after a really nice bath while being moisturized… Who else knows this (!) scent and loves it? I love this process.

And throughout this indulgent time, my new favorite scent accompanied me in a beautifully chic bottle. I spray on a little more before I snuggle into the wonderful king-size bed with pure white bedding.
I had to reapply quite a few times. The bottle is now a little more than half full. At dawn, I had packed the newly opened, quite massive bottle in my sports backpack. I realized after breakfast that I had to take it with me. It was worth having it with me all day.
I will need my miniatures and bottles of this scent this winter.
To use up.

“Le Vie di Milano - District of Nolo” is for me a fine powdery iris scent, with a hint of creamy pear. I can hardly smell the violet. Overall, it has a slightly bitter-sweet, almost leathery touch for me. Sometimes I think I can detect something subtly woody, which, however, is not listed in the fragrance pyramid.
It reminds me exactly of a day like the one described above… With all the colors, textures, nuances, and so on.

This scent will definitely remain my companion for the time being. It simply has style and radiates pure luxury and class for me.

If anyone can relate to any of the impressions I described, or better said, can imagine it and feel it, I recommend testing this - what I consider - unique scent and perhaps discovering it for themselves.

Voilà! Here it is, my first real review, where I finally put in a bit more effort. It is a scent that certainly deserves a more detailed review.
