Awesome, though not pure jasmine at all.
Pure Jasmine took me completely by surprise. I don't love jasmine, neroli or pistachio, but here, this combination has totally won me over. It opens with a delicious, slightly salty pistachio, a note that I wish would've lasted longer. I can even forgive it for the false claims it makes: this jasmine is by no means pure, nor is it front and center. The fragrance is creamy, deep, I'd eat it with a teaspoon like a dessert, a bergamot and pistachio soufflé made from milky white flowers. It reminds me of a fresher version of Amour (Kenzo). Smells way better than what that price tag would lead you to believe.

Squirrel
Konstantin loved routines. Every lunch break, he went to the park with his book at exactly noon to read a fantasy novel alone on his favorite bench. He only ever read until he could stop at the bottom right-hand corner of an even number of pages. He wasn't lonely, at least he would never admit it. He had experienced enough disappointments that had made him increasingly withdrawn from the female sex.

Lately, he could hardly concentrate on his lunchtime reading because there was this one "problem".
For several days now, he had been noticing the large areas of waste from excessive pistachio consumption. Every time he saw the shells, his comb swelled. It really offended his sense of hygiene and symmetry. Evil tongues would say he might be suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder.

One sunny spring day, he spotted a fresh trail. His eyes searchingly followed the line on the gravel path that led him to a sandalwood bench under shady trees.
Aha. This had to be the source of the contamination. There were hundreds of nutshells scattered in the grass in a wide arc around the bench.
He was just about to start with a rather unkind admonishment that had been building up inside him for weeks when the "squirrel" beat him to it and turned around. The loveliest creature he had ever seen smiled at him. Every word got stuck in his throat. A classic case of blackout.
In her white and pink striped dress and space buns, she reminded him of an anime doll woman. The delicate face looked as if a soft filter from old Hollywood films had been placed over it. Was it just him or did he hear violins playing?

The rustling of a bag of nuts brought him back. She fished out a pistachio and clamped it between her pearly white teeth. He inevitably winced at the crunch. The poor nut is losing its home, he thought briefly.

The nutcracker held out her hand "Jasmine" she introduced herself.
"I think you mean Beautiful Jasmine," he corrected.

Beautiful Jasmine giggled.

"Eh... is Aladdin here too?" he heard himself chuckle a little too boisterously, only to feel like an idiot the next moment. Too late, he could already feel the heat pulsing in his square skull.

Luckily, she interrupted the awkward silence. "What's your name?"

"Konstaldin"

She looked puzzled at first, only to burst out laughing the next moment.

Proud that his joke had gone down so well, he now cleared his throat to finally get to the point:
"You've eaten 392 pistachios today. And a total of 8,934 since Monday three weeks ago. Obviously you forgot to clean up."
He triumphantly held a faded net bag of nutshells under her nose.

Her laughter died away. She was speechless. Or impressed. He couldn't say for sure. Reading facial expressions was not one of his strengths, nor was knowing when to say or do the right thing at the right time and vice versa. But what he did recognize were the white blotches on her otherwise flawless face.

"You've got something there."
Faster than she could react, his index finger was already drawing on her cheek and then disappeared into his mouth.
"Ah cream. Nivea cream with paraffinum liquidum to be more precise," he analyzed.

Now she was a little embarrassed that she had handled her morning care so bunglingly. But that didn't bother her. Entranced by her almond eyes, he forgot his resolution to keep his distance from the female sex. So he took heart and asked if she would like to go out with him. That was far too complicated, replied the beautiful Jasmin, she had a food allergy. She couldn't eat anything except these nuts.
He could understand that logically and was almost embarrassed.

Due to the circumstance, they sat on the same bench day in and day out, sharing pistachios from a packet. Unfortunately, she couldn't win him over for spitting the shells wildly. He compromised by placing the net bag symmetrically near his foot so that he could aim for it.

Side note: Incidentally, they also became smarter and healthier as a result of their excessive consumption and, best of all, none of them were lonely any more. But of course Konstaldin would never admit that, nor that he would never finish reading his book.

-------------------
This Trussardi enchanted me straight away. An unobtrusive powder fragrance like the gentle smile of the spring sun. Neroli and bergamot only give a very delicate fresh breeze in the top note, the pistachio is pleasantly sweet without being sticky. Salt remains hidden from me. The fragrance is creamy from the beginning to the sandalwood finish. But I'm talking about a skin care cream, not an edible dessert. The care aspect of the fragrance is due to the beautiful jasmine, which is always harmonious and never overpowering. I perceive the sillage rather close to the skin.

Thank you dear Kalinka1973 for opening your treasure chest and sharing your love for the fragrance with me. It's like eating pistachios together under the jasmine bush.

Transfigured fall
Trussardi Donna was the first fragrance I bought with my own money.

Apart from that, my fragrance-loving father always provided me with perfumes and he had good, unerring taste.
But Donna was my own "invention".

I'm still fond of Trussardis, so I couldn't get past the simple packaging of Pure Jasmine.

I like jasmine fragrances, and sprayed curiously.
But here I was greeted by a delicately powdery scent, accompanied by soft, sweet vanilla.
Only later does the jasmine shine through, also in a subtle, subtle way.
Sandalwood softens the beautiful fragrance and I step out fearlessly into the windy autumn day.

Pure Jasmine acts like a soft focus, just as the delicate evening mist blurs the contours of the trees and bushes.

I think of transfigured images of Turner, and the fragrance fits in.
An atmospheric fragrance that gently accompanies me through the fall.

Pistachio ice cream with sea salt
How beautiful is this fragrance, please? This is actually how I would have imagined "Yum Pistachio Gelato | 33 | Kayali", which I was very overwhelmingly underwhelmed by. Trussardi Pure Jasmine is creamy and soft, like a floral, slightly sweet balm. I would compare it to homemade pistachio ice cream with sea salt flakes. I think you can wear this fragrance all year round, but I think its true beauty will only unfold in warmer temperatures. I can hardly wait to test it more thoroughly.

Glace Pistache à la Fleur d'Oranger
I discovered this crème de la crème of a fragrance this summer.
The first time I sprayed it on, I had an association with refreshing tissues for on the go, which irritated me a little. I had never smelled this combination before. So maybe it was just too unfamiliar for my nose in some way and it then suggested to my brain that it might be similar to the powdery-creamy scent of a type of wet wipe for hands and face that I already use. So it smelled like something well-groomed and of good quality and not like some wet wipes for the delicate bottom ;)

During the second test, which I started perhaps just under a week later in early summer, something was quite different right from the start.
I have to say that this time I also had a manufacturer's sample in a white paper case in front of me, which contained the fragrance pyramid including beautiful little pictures.
And now I could identify what I was smelling.

When I spray it on, it starts directly with this sweet and salty pistachio ice cream or a pistachio cream, which takes me straight back to a beautiful summer day or a balmy summer evening full of indulgence.
This immediately combines with the orange blossom and the bergamot makes this liaison seem like a refreshing yet creamy summer dessert.
I've probably eaten and enjoyed something like this before. Or maybe even conjured up something like this myself.
I know how well some orange blossom water, or rose water depending on the case, combines with certain pistachio treats. However, this can quickly become very oriental, especially with the latter, which is not the case here at all.
I look in front of me and sniff an exquisite treat from the back of my hand, pistachio-pastel green in color, with its own nutty shavings on top.
A beguilingly sweet jasmine in combination with champaca also joins in fairly immediately, which is an excellent match. Mugane, a lily of the valley scent, is also cleverly interwoven with the other components.
In this case, it smells to me more like a freshly opened large white lily bud, the ones with the most intense lily scent. These white lilies, or sometimes the pink version of them, are among my absolute favorite flowers. How often have I decorated my home with a freshly bought bouquet of these lustful, sometimes aphrodisiac and somewhat narcotic-scented flowers? You can enchant entire rooms with them.
Here, however, the "Lily of the Valley" mugane provides a slightly green, delicately fresh twist, which takes away some of the heaviness of the jasmine and keeps the whole thing summery, light and upbeat.

The vanilla is easily perceptible right from the start and very successfully integrated into the overall fragrance. A summery vanilla, which probably also plays a role in the fact that for me it goes perfectly with tanned skin in a loose summer beach dress and high-quality, light and delicately scented sun cream or a minimally scented coconut oil (not to be confused with too high a sun protection factor or a sticky, heavy sun blocker).

Even though I notice the patchouli in the base note from the heart at the latest, it is mainly a player in the drydown. Together with the elegant vanilla and powdery sandalwood, the fragrance gradually fades away.
All in all, however, the fragrance is rather linear without really being multi-faceted or branching in nature. It lasts quite a long time and smells intense, but despite its sweetness it is never overpowering or penetrating. I can actually perceive the sophisticated, creamy-powdery, sweet-salty-nutty and floral fragrance in its full bouquet of the specified ingredients until almost the end.

I had a lot of fun with this price-performance hit this summer.
I often wore it when I went sunbathing and swimming with a scarf and book and flip-flops. To my taste, the perfume is perfect for this.

However, I also wear the fragrance every now and then. Pure, to have a little cultivated sweetness around me, or occasionally as an enhancer for another fragrance.
It goes well with some other Trussardi fragrances or even combines to create a new and more complex fragrance experience. Or with other fragrances, whether perfume, body lotion or spray, it has already proven to be a dignified accompaniment.

For me, it is indeed most of all a sensual and thoroughly seductive summer fragrance, reminiscent on the one hand of an epicurean delight and on the other of carefree times and elegant care. But I also discover new qualities in it at other times of the year. That's why it will almost certainly continue to delight me again and again.

Thank you for reading.

This is a beautiful creamy elegant everyday perfume. Pretty and easy to love floral with a suave vanilla woody drydown. I wish I had it.
