Awesome, though not pure jasmine at all.
Pure Jasmine took me completely by surprise. I don't love jasmine, neroli or pistachio, but here, this combination has totally won me over. It opens with a delicious, slightly salty pistachio, a note that I wish would've lasted longer. I can even forgive it for the false claims it makes: this jasmine is by no means pure, nor is it front and center. The fragrance is creamy, deep, I'd eat it with a teaspoon like a dessert, a bergamot and pistachio soufflé made from milky white flowers. It reminds me of a fresher version of Amour (Kenzo). Smells way better than what that price tag would lead you to believe.

Underrated Gem
There are some fragrances that are so unobtrusive that they actually tend to fade away, which is quite a shame. Trussardi is one of those for me. I have neither a strong affinity for the fragrance house nor am I particularly drawn to the bottle design.

Nevertheless, I had noted Pure Jasmine on my list and tested it in the summer. While I liked what I smelled, I also had Olympea Solar on my skin at the time, which caught my attention more, and the little jasmine was simply too quiet that day.

Coincidentally, I received a sample of the fragrance with a perfume package and was about to pass it on thoughtlessly until I realized that it was the jasmine scent that I actually liked very much but had dismissed for reasons I couldn't recall.

The fragrance opens fresh and sweet at the same time. Somehow aquatic, citrusy, marine, and yes, you can smell the pistachio too, although I wouldn't have been able to identify it as pistachio if it weren't mentioned here, I admit. All of this is painted in Monet colors, blurred, not flashy.
I really like this start, which pours into a bright, clear floral picture. The jasmine is nicely toned down to its light nuances and its sweetness, only occasionally does the indolic note flash up, but just for a moment. This could look different in very high temperatures; jasmine tends to be quite assertive in summer, as we know.

Particularly noteworthy is this wonderful creaminess, although the fragrance follows a rather clean line, a clear scent trail (you do associate colors with sillage, right? The Pure Jasmine is definitely transparent in the sillage with milky veils). However, it is not a powdery creaminess, nor a creamy creaminess; it is this kind of well-groomed creaminess that leans more towards understatement. Nothing here clogs the nose, you don't feel greasy.

Towards the end, jasmine hands over its sweetness to the vanilla. It is a truly enchanting vanilla, not a bakery vanilla. Overall, the fragrance is sweet but not sugary. I cannot draw a parallel to Girl of Now, as indicated.

And thus the circle closes; the fragrance is beautiful. It has no recognizability, it is not a head-turner, and yet in its understated sillage, its well-groomed nature, and its non-sugary quality, it is a perfect fragrance for so many occasions. Perhaps even a perfect bridal scent.

Squirrel
Konstantin loved routines. Every lunch break, he went exactly at 12 o'clock with his book to the park to read a fantasy novel alone on his favorite bench. He always read just far enough to stop at an even page number at the bottom right. He was not lonely, at least he would never admit it. He had experienced enough disappointments that made him increasingly closed off to the female sex.

Recently, he could hardly concentrate on his lunchtime reading because there was this one "problem."
For several days, he had noticed the widespread litter from excessive pistachio consumption. Every time he saw the shells, his temper flared. It significantly scratched at his sense of hygiene and symmetry. Evil tongues would claim he might be suffering from a compulsion disorder.

On a sunny spring day, he could spot a fresh trail. His eyes searched for the line on the gravel path that led him to a sandalwood bench under shady trees.
Aha. This must be the source of the contamination. Around the bench, hundreds of nut shells were scattered across the grass in a wide arc.
He was just about to launch into a rather unfriendly admonition that had been building up in him for weeks when the "squirrel" got ahead of him and turned around. The loveliest creature he had ever seen smiled at him. Every word stuck in his throat. Classic case of blackout.
In her white-pink striped dress and space buns, she reminded him of an anime doll woman. Her delicate face looked as if a soft filter from old Hollywood films had been laid over it. Was it just him, or did he hear violins playing?

The rustling of a nut bag brought him back. She fished out a pistachio and wedged it between her pearly white teeth. At the crack, he involuntarily flinched. Poor nut losing its shell, he thought briefly.

The nutcracker held out her hand. "Jasmin," she introduced herself.
"You mean Beautiful Jasmin," he corrected her.

The beautiful Jasmin giggled.

"Eh... is Aladdin here too?" he heard himself squeak a bit too exuberantly, only to feel like an idiot the next moment. Too late, he already felt the heat pulsing in his square head.

Fortunately, she interrupted the awkward silence. "What's your name?"

"Konstaldin."

She looked puzzled at first, then burst into loud laughter.

Proud that his wordplay was so well received, he cleared his throat now to finally get to the point:
"You have eaten 392 pistachios today. And since Monday three weeks ago, a total of 8,934. Apparently, you forgot to clean up."
He triumphantly held out a faded Netto bag filled with nut shells under her nose.

Her laughter stopped. She was speechless. Or impressed. He couldn't tell exactly. Reading expressions on faces was not one of his strengths, nor was knowing when to say or do the right thing at the right moment and vice versa. What he did recognize were the white smudges on her otherwise flawless face.

"You have something there."
Faster than she could react, his index finger was already painting on her cheek and then disappeared into his mouth. "Ah cream. Nivea cream with paraffinum liquidum to be precise," he analyzed.

Now she was a bit embarrassed that she had been so clumsy with her skincare that morning. But that didn't bother him. Completely enchanted by her almond-shaped eyes, he forgot his resolve to keep his distance from the female sex. So he mustered up the courage to ask if she would like to go out with him. That was far too complicated, the beautiful Jasmin replied; she had a food allergy. She could eat nothing except these nuts.
He could logically understand that, and his anger was almost embarrassing to him.

Due to this circumstance, they sat day in and day out on the same bench, sharing pistachios from a pack. Unfortunately, she couldn't win him over for the wild spitting of the shells. He went so far as to compromise by placing the Netto bag symmetrically at foot level to aim for it.

Postscript: Interestingly, they also became smarter and healthier due to the excessive consumption, and best of all: neither was lonely anymore. But of course, Konstaldin would never admit that, just as he would never admit that he would never finish reading his book.

-------------------
This Trussardi enchanted me at first sight. A subtle powder scent like the gentle smile of the spring sun. Neroli and bergamot provide only the faintest fresh breeze in the top note, the pistachio is pleasantly sweet without becoming sticky. Salt remains hidden from me. The scent is creamy from the beginning to the sandalwood finish. But I’m talking about a skincare cream, not an edible dessert. The care aspect is thanks to the scent of the beautiful Jasmin, which always remains harmonious and never intrusive. I perceive the sillage more closely.

Thank you dear Kalinka1973 for opening your treasure chest and sharing your love for the scent with me. It’s like sharing pistachios under the jasmine bush.

Transfigured Autumn
Trussardi Donna was the first fragrance I bought with my own money.

Otherwise, my fragrance-loving father always supplied me with perfumes, and he had a good, infallible taste.
But Donna was my own "invention."

I am still fond of Trussardi, so I couldn't pass by the simple packaging of Pure Jasmine.

I like jasmine scents, and I sprayed it out of curiosity.
But here, I was greeted by a fine powdery scent, accompanied by soft sweet vanilla.
Only later does the jasmine come through, in a fine, subtle way.
Sandalwood makes the beautiful fragrance smooth, and I boldly step out into the windy autumn day.

Pure Jasmine acts like a soft focus, just as the delicate evening mist blurs the outlines of trees and bushes.

I think of transfigured images by Turner, and the scent fits perfectly.
An atmospheric fragrance that gently accompanies me through autumn.

Pistachio Ice Cream with Sea Salt
How beautiful is this scent, please? Trussardi Pure Jasmine is creamy soft, like a floral, slightly sweet balm. I would most closely compare it to homemade pistachio ice cream with flakes of sea salt. I think this fragrance can be worn all year round, but its true beauty will surely unfold in warmer temperatures, in my opinion. I can hardly wait to test it in more detail.

Starts off similar to Trussardi 2021, but after a few seconds, pistachio and jasmine take over. A great twist! A non-dusty pink-white-green fun powder scent!

Piercing start,
but in the drydown it's a sweet-creamy jasmine with a slightly salty pistachio note, a bit sultry due to the warmth, underrated!

A tiny jasmine in a big pot of "Salt Caramel". Bulkier and less floral than expected. Synthetic jasmine breaks free.
