Aperol Spritz on vacation
I'm a bit picky with citrus scents. Not that I dislike them, I just find it boring to smell like a plain lemon or orange. But I heard that this smelled like an Aperol Spritz, and I like some other fragrances from this line, so I was cautiously optimistic about Alba Sui Navigli.

Well, no need to be cautious, this is great!
So refreshing and summery, and not boring at all. It does remind me of an Aperol Spritz, but I don't perceive it as a boozy fragrance.
Blood orange and bitter orange are the stars of the show here. It's a juicy scent that has both bitter and sweet aspects. The basil and juniper notes are very subtle. I was a bit wary about them maybe being too aromatic for my taste, but they aren't. There is a moment of a cologne-like undertone from the petitgrain in the opening, but it doesn't last too long. At no point does this fragrance become harsh or too thin like some other citruses are. I really appreciate the base in this. It smells like soft white musk and weirdly a bit rosy and sweet, so it makes a really nice foundation for the lighter notes. I feel like this is what makes the fragrance feel fresh and clean and keeps it from going into "I just spilled my drink on myself" territory.

It's really like an olfactory vacation, like sitting in a cute little bar by the water in a sundress with friends or your love.

And for a citrus scent, it also lasts very well. I could still smell it in the next morning after sampling in the evening.

Another home run for the Trussardi greyhounds in my book. I also love Passeggiata in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and Limitless Shopping Via della Spiga. These are all very different from each other and beautiful in their own way.

Boozy Cocktail for All Year Round
Another first comment on a fragrance: The Alba sui Navigli from the La Vie De Milano line by Trussardi. It seems to be the niche line from Trussardi when you look at the price, bottle, and packaging. So far, I haven't really warmed up to the brand. While there is a lot that is pleasing, I find that most of them lack that certain something. This Prive line is certainly a bit more exciting. I have only purchased or tested this one, as it came across as very special and interesting to me. Generally, I like boozy fragrances that lean towards cocktails. Especially interesting in the summer and simply uplifting.

170 euros for this fragrance is already excessive. However, you can get this scent for significantly less, as it would likely remain a shelf warmer at that price.
The packaging is definitely niche and more worthy of Trussardi than this designer line. The bottle stands in an elegant box. The cap slightly resembles the Penhaligon's Portrait line. It is supposed to represent the famous Trussardi greyhound. It has its charm. The rest of the bottle is kept beautifully simple and elegant. It makes a statement.
With the scent, you get what you expect from this pyramid: a fresh boozy cocktail that becomes softer and slightly maritime as it develops. I don’t find the initial spray or opening to be very harmonious. It feels a bit overloaded and piercing, which fortunately settles down quickly. Probably the basil. After about 20 minutes, you have a really nice cocktail of fruity and boozy notes. Citrusy notes and fruity-sparkling blood orange form a great base for these boozy notes. Juniper is also well perceptible and provides a gin vibe. Together with this unique spritz note, it harmonizes like a great cocktail. Aperol Spritz, as mentioned in the statements, fits quite well. Here with gin and a bit of fruit. In the base, there is also rum. I don't smell it individually. Instead, there’s fresh Ambroxan, which also makes this fragrance a bit more lasting. And a gentle musk base that allows this scent to fade nicely.
Overall, a great cocktail that spreads good vibes and fits well into the evening. Not just in summer: Although most see it as a summer fragrance, such boozy-fresh scents can be worn all year round, especially in the evening when you're out and about. This pleasant freshness is quite suitable for warmer days. A very pleasing fragrance that hardly anyone will dislike. Except for the first few minutes.

Performance is good, especially for this slightly fresher DNA. It lasts a minimum of 6 hours. The sillage is pleasant. You don't smell like you've bathed in Aperol Spritz. The sillage is perceptible for many hours, somewhat close to the skin. Since this fragrance is more suitable for evening and leisure, it is absolutely sufficient.
Overall, a fantastic unisex release that makes you crave a cocktail and is quite unique.

What kind of Aperol drinker?
It was a hot day in Italy. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and the streets were full of people between the cafés, farmers' markets, and restaurants of the bustling city.
Our hero, a young man, strolled down a small busy street filled with colorful little establishments to a nearby bar where one could get unique and refreshing drinks.

He took a seat at a table and ordered a drink. A provocative, flavorful, refreshing drink shimmering in orange-red tones and exciting. As he took the first sip, he was immediately overwhelmed by the citrusy, fresh, and cheerful taste. He took a second sip, and the flavor seemed to intensify - greener, more aromatic, herb-spicy.

He took a third sip, and the taste exploded in his mouth. It was the blend of a trinity, citrusy, fresh, and cheerful, that flooded his senses.

This is exactly how he had imagined love - an overwhelming taste that filled the heart and soul. He lingered a little longer in the bar, enjoying the taste of the Aperol Spritz and the wonderful atmosphere of Italy.

A truly great fragrance to fall in love with. In the blend of the drink, the rum carries the spritz and juniper on its shoulders, while oranges and limes cautiously approach.
Contrary to my fear of being at a loss for words during a police check, this is a very nice and refreshing everyday fragrance. With the necessary citrus freshness to feel the lightness and carefree spirit of an Aperol evening on the skin.

The top note is a dream...Aperol vibes without end!
I have to say, if "Le Vie di Milano - Alba sui Navigli | Trussardi" were not just so great in the top note, it would be an absolute candidate for purchase! Unfortunately, the fragrance quickly fades and the performance leaves much to be desired. The longevity on my skin is only about 5 to 6 hours, and the sillage is correspondingly subdued.

The opening smells wonderfully fruity, sweet, and liqueur-like with blood oranges and bitter oranges, making me think directly of Aperol. In the background, limes are also present, providing a nice freshness. The heart note then surprisingly becomes quite green, spicy, and herbal with aromas of juniper berries, basil, and a bit of ginger. I can't really recognize the base notes indicated in the fragrance pyramid. Here, there would be Petitgrain, some vetiver, and a hint of neroli to identify.

This top note with an amazing performance...that would be dreamy! Or I could just pour some Aperol on my skin...Many thanks to Carsten for the sample.

Summery Cocktail Party
This is how I imagine a light summer fragrance for a cocktail party.

In the opening, it is very fruity, sweet, and playful. Later, it becomes more elegant while remaining fresh and fruity.

What I find exciting about the scent is that, in my perception, it shifted from more feminine to more masculine depending on my mood and daily routine. Therefore, I would fully emphasize its unisex nature.

For me, it is a bit too weak.

Citrus fruits and something slightly herbaceous, which isn't basil, I assume it's the juniper. Nice, but short, even for a freshie.

Orange, old men's herbal bitters and a good dose of sweetness. Light flowers in the background. Creative but not necessarily pleasant

Bitter citrus on juniper and woods. I love a few of this line, not this one.

Bitter-citrusy tingling with a twist. A little aperitif while strolling along the Naviglio. Unfortunately, Ambrox and the overly sweet base are a bit off.

I drink Aperol with grapefruit soda instead of prosecco. Fresh-herb cocktail. Spiced with juniper + basil, later soft + creamy. Great!
