Surprisingly great!

I must highly reluctantly admit that I really like this scent. My teen daughter wanted a Victoria’s Secret scent for Christmas, and since I’m interested in perfumes I thought I’d go have a look, even though I have an instinctive aversion to Big Brand Perfume. I think I smelled every perfume they had in the store - it was superfruity this and megaflowery that. Until I tried this one. Yes, it was flowery and fruity like the rest, but it also had a clean freshness and a top-notch citrus tone that toned down the fruity flower potpourri. Whenever my daughter wears it and passes me, I notice that she smells fresh and pleasant in a quite sophisticated - but still young - way for being a teen girl. I would certainly recommend this to young women, maybe up to 25 years of age. A note is that I find the name a very good one for a perfume, but for this one it is highly misleading – a better name would be Fresh & Pleasant (which sucks as a name, but would be more informative).

fruity aromatic and light

It has a citrus scent reminiscent of an unripe peach. Citrus has a more peach-like tone. Although it is quite light, it offers average permanence and projection. Also, a herbal scent is evident at the opening (not fruity). I likened this tone to tree resin.

It's more like a teenage girl scent under 30. Lasts up to 8 hours on fabric. It disappears on the skin in the first 3 hours. Projection is slightly below average.

Where's the fruit?

Where's pineapple, strawberry and passion fruit? Why is it marketed towards women?
I wish it was fruity. It's anything but!
I get bergamot, jasmine, musk and a hint of oakmoss. In fact, this leans masculine to me, like a masculine body wash that's marketed as "Energising".
There's freshness to it, the kind you feel when you leather yourself with a thick layer of body wash.
I have no idea why i bought it, albeit only 10ml. And while i often like unisex and masculine leaning perfumes, Bombshell is not my cup of tea. Will see if i like it better on my husband.

a classic

another perfume thats foundational, bombshell will always be good. bright, refreshing, fruity, flirty, very little to dislike about it. the fact that it's so safe may seem like a detriment but every time ive smelled this on myself or someone else all i could think was "wow this smells good" give this or any of the flankers a try. victorias secret just makes good perfumes! sorry!

Basic "Nice Girl" in a Bottle

You know that girl in school who was perfectly nice but not terribly interesting?

Basically pretty, well liked but not super popular, ultimately inoffensive?

She'll sign your yearbook with hearts and bubble letters and a very nice Hallmark-level sentiment but you haven't spoken like, ever?

You have definitely heard her full name every single day since kindergarten during roll call and have never once remembered it?

She'll probably become a dental hygienist or veterinarian and marry the first guy she dates in college?

Sweet, pleasant, simple, forgettable. Still nice to have around sometimes, though.
