The store in a bottle.

This smells just like the air *inside* Victoria's Secret! I walked in to test something (just in the mood to try something), and sprayed this...only to think...'This smells like...*here*.'

It's soft. It's a little fruity and smells like like bergamot, but in a soft way. There's an indistinct floral undercurrent, but it's mostly just powdery and perfumey. Nothing is distinctly sandalwood about it, but it's soft, and feels like the texture of sandalwood along with plush musk.

So if you like the way the Victoria's Secret store itself smells, this is for you. It encapsulates the overall vibe in one bottle.

Chameleon-like scent: varies widely with wearer

I was so excited to try this because I love skin scents, and anything musky. I also generally love VS fragrance - but this was a major let down for me.

All I got was a lactonic powder, and not in a good way - I saw someone else compare it to "baby vomit", which was similar to my experience. The dry-down also came fast, and all that was left was baby powder with no other notes.

Based on the rave reviews from some, it seems this varies widely depending on your skin chemistry - so I would definitely suggest going to your local VS, to use a tester and see how it settles on your skin. Really glad I didn't blind-buy!

Better than expected

I was expecting a powdery, floral citrusy scent but i did not get that! I got a sweet ( but not a sugary or warm sweet), kinda creamy & bright citrus without leaning too much into a “citrus cleaning product”. Very light but definitely one you can overspray and get headaches from at the same time. Can have a “your skin but better” feel to it. Is it something new and never been done before… no. But is it a nice fragrance overall.. yes!

Compliment Getter!

Update 3/11/25: I was wearing both the lotion and EDP in this on Saturday (3/8) and hugged my friend and she said I smelled incredible, and yesterday she told me her clothes still smelled like me so A) more positive feedback on how it smelled and B) more info on its longevity!

2/16/25: I happened to go into Victoria's Secret while they were running a sale and got a set with a lotion and miniature perfume and tried both when I got out of the shower. I then went downstairs for a snack and my roommate walked into the kitchen a few minutes later and IMMEDIATELY goes "you smell good!" so if they could smell me across the room while I was eating chips and queso that's a good sign. This is sweet and fruity and a little creamy and just so GOOD.

Synthetic Musky Violet

A very, soft and fluffy scent - quiet and inoffensive. In hindsight, I find that it lasts quite a long time, though with no sillage (as it never had any to begin with). This could probably be a good base for layering, it is not very powerful on its own. Musky with the light floral touch of violet, with only a slight synthetic-ness that fades after the initial opening. Overall a nice scent, but not strong enough.
