Subtle Sexiness

I went online to buy my usual VS perfume, Tease, when I came across Very Sexy Night. This is not sold in stores near me, so I just discovered it this winter. I took a chance on it and ordered a bottle, figuring if I didn't like it, I could run down the road to VS and exchange. I purchased the full size bottle of perfume, lotion and also a roller ball. I'm so glad I took the chance! I was in love with the black and gold bottle and thought "I bet whatever is in that is amazing!" I wasn't wrong! This is a very sexy smelling perfume, but it's light and subtle. It's not overpowering and it's not demanding...but will definitely be noticed by your s/o! It's spicy/woodsy, with a touch of sweetness for those that don't like overly sweet perfumes. I don't care for "sexy" perfumes that take over a room. I don't want others going home smelling like me. The plum and apple notes are the perfect mysterious blend when paired with velvet wood notes. If you want to kick it up just a notch, pair with just a touch of Gucci Guilty!

Uninspired but inoffensive

The opening of this fragrance is slightly salty, but the dominant note throughout is a masculine, woodsy scent with a hint of fruit. It's not unpleasant, but it's also not particularly unique. Longevity is poor.

Already vanished before the fragrance development

Since many classics show me their worst side somehow (see Angel, Poison...) with few exceptions, I have somehow landed in the aquatic, often lighter category. These fragrances develop surprisingly well on me.

Just like the Victoria's Secret fragrances. While the exact same scents seem to come from very cheap, rundown establishments on two of my colleagues, they smell neither as sticky sweet on me as on my colleagues nor as incredibly cheap and flat. It's astonishing how the same fragrances can develop so differently (Bombshell for example, or Victoria, very sweet loses that sticky sweetness on me).

Thus, I tested more and more fragrances, including Night, simply because the bottle is so beautifully designed, and I am currently sniffing through the entire range. But unfortunately, Night, even on me, is very flat. The fragrance doesn't start off very sweet, interesting, but the development can only be guessed at, as the scent has completely vanished before it can even develop.
