Under the Radar!
I've had this fragrance on my wishlist for months, and I finally managed to snag it on A**zon.
Yes, once again a blind buy on my part, but I just can't help myself.
From the very first spray, I knew that the blind buy was a success.
Citrusy, slightly peppery wood makes my olfactory receptors rejoice with happiness!
Am I wandering through the morning dew from the Alps into a (fairy tale) forest? I can almost embrace the cedar and walnut tree and roll around in the moss. Benzoin adds a slight sweetness to this fragrance, but it doesn't come off as too sweet or sticky. Overall, all the ingredients are perfectly balanced, nothing is overdone or overloaded. The scent is overall lightly fresh, yet woody-spicy, but also very lovely. It won't clash anywhere and suits all occasions, whether at the office, leisure, or on a date. However, those expecting a heavy-hitter will be disappointed. "Wood" remains relatively close to the skin, but lasts for several hours.
I can't explain why this fragrance doesn't get more attention. Perhaps it's due to the thankfully absent Ambroxan or Oud... for me, it's definitely a no-brainer!
