Mango - but done right!
Does anyone remember the medical series Scrubs? The scene where JD is in his girlfriend Elliott's bathroom and snacks on her mango body butter? Well, I understand JD.
I also have a little mango water at home, and on hot summer days, I sometimes feel like I could almost snack on it, it smells so delicious. Because compared to other tropical fruit scents, this one smells very authentic, like freshly cut mangoes, zesty citrus fruits, and juicy nectarines. One of the less good ones of its kind, as most are just overly sweet Haribo Tropifrutti mixtures, including more expensive candidates like the, in my opinion, unbearably synthetic "Rockin' Rio" by Escada, which for a while clouded the décolletage of all high school graduates.
But those who know fruits, and I mean fresh ones, know that they are not overly sweet. And those who know me know that I have always hated gummy bears. That's why Green Summer is THE summer fruit scent for me, because it is natural, green, zesty, and fresh. And almost not sweet at all!
The longevity is not bad for a YR, the sillage is relatively close to the body, which I think is appropriate for a summer fragrance. Where I live, a big city in the southwest, it can get extremely hot and humid in the summer - wearing expansive scents here can quickly make you enemies.
Unfortunately, the fragrance is no longer available for purchase, so I hope that the pretty green-orange bottle doesn't run out too quickly. And that YR might release something similar again. It is truly well done!
Oh, and one more thing:
