I would like to eat an apple now
Recently, I wrote a comment about "Moment de Bonheur L'Eau," which also smells like apple. - Forget that scent.
"Les Plaisirs Nature - Pomme Délice" tops it all. If you like apple, you must buy this fragrance.
It starts sweet and truly smelling of apple. It feels as if the sweet juice of an apple you just bit into is flowing down your palate.
Then it becomes a bit sweeter, and somehow the scent begins to remind me of a deluxe version of the Chupa Chups apple lollipop. (Not that such a thing exists, but it starts to smell like a delicious lollipop that doesn't feature artificial fruit notes like others do.)
Over time, the fragrance becomes a bit calmer, no longer as sweet, yet the vanilla comes out stronger.
The apple fireworks transform into a quiet, elegant apple-vanilla breeze that is not necessarily Christmassy. Really very beautiful.

A Tester Mistake? Luckily Not Quite!
When I tested "Les Plaisirs Nature - Pomme Délice / Apple Delight" about a week ago, I found the scent incredibly apple-like - it was basically just apples. Not fresh, crisp apples, but warm, mild apples - similar to baked apples or apple tea. So much for the tester.
The scent then lingered in my mind for quite a while, and somehow the little collector in me prevailed. So, I went back to Yves Rocher this week to buy the fragrance. I didn't test it again immediately beforehand. Apparently a mistake! Because when I got home and sprayed a little from the small bottle onto my wrist, the scent was suddenly completely different! (I had also worn it on my skin during the first test.) It smelled, I have to agree with my predecessors, very artificial and somehow a bit "bitter" (I don't know how else to describe the smell, but I had a similar experience with the strawberry scent from the line). I would have preferred to wash the scent off immediately, but from experience, I know that these fragrances from the "Les Plaisirs Nature" line don't last for hours anyway. Besides, I wanted to give the scent a chance and see how it developed. It was worth it! Although no bombastic, new scent emerged that I couldn't live without, the artificial note was obviously only present in the top note. In the heart note, it was still slightly there at the beginning, but it gradually faded into the background during the unfolding of the heart note. Instead, the wonderful warm-vanilla, but not spicy, baked apple scent that I already knew from testing emerged. A wonderful scent, even though it is very sweet and unfortunately not very long-lasting. The heart note disappears quite quickly, and the base note (vanilla, I can't detect anything more) comes to the fore, but it also fades relatively quickly. After about two hours, I would have needed to reapply.
A very short intermezzo - first you have to wait for it, and then it's already gone again. What a shame!
Still, I'm glad I bought the scent because I like it. The baked apple in the heart note and the vanilla afterwards are somehow worth it to me, as I love both - apple and vanilla - very much.

Adorned with False Feathers
For all that Yves Rocher holds the scepter of naturalness so high, "Apple Delight" smells quite artificial.
With great anticipation, I imagined dealing with a roasted or paradise apple. Far from it!
Much like Demeter's "Apple Pie," the apple is spoiled, rotten, and unpleasant to the nose. The artificial plastic vanilla scent doesn't help, quite the opposite.
Nature couldn't smell more artificial...

Hm. Unfortunately no Hmmmmmmmm....
I went into Yves Rocher to test the Christmas scent (not my thing) and accidentally stumbled upon this fragrance called "Apple Delight."

First, I must admit that I've never really connected with Yves Rocher. My friends rave about it, but to me, it feels a bit too... eco (yes, yes, I know, nature and all that is great and commendable, but this "everything is so wonderful because it's ecological" attitude just annoys me). Plus, I really dislike the "do you have a customer card?" stuff, just as much as the countless little gifts and extras that no one needs. But I think I'm getting off topic...

I hadn't heard anything about Apple Delight and imagined it to be an apple scent leaning towards baked apple. Warm, with almond flakes and a pinch of cinnamon. Wonderful! Full of anticipation for a cozy winter fragrance, I sprayed it on to test - and was brought back to the ground of reality.

It smells like apple and vanilla. That's about it. It smells like an overripe, dark red apple that has been sitting around for far too long. Mixed in is some vanillin from the Christmas bakery, all in all a strange blend of apple, just before fermentation, and highly artificial vanilla.

No one needs this - not even during the Christmas season!

A delicious apple scent from the time when YR still had Christmas fragrances. :-( Reminds me of All about Eve, just much nicer. Lasts about 3h!

What you see is what you get: Apple & Vanilla.
Not very long-lasting as a perfume.
I use it as a comforting room scent or for falling asleep.

Initially sweet, delicious baked apple, but it disappears quickly! Longevity is really terrible! What a shame!

Oh, a cozy round of shisha smoking with double apple tobacco, just a bit sweeter and less smoky.
