Unpretentious chocolate scent for young sweet tooths
How does one rate a perfume that doesn't aspire to be a proper perfume? Scents from this line are intended as little treats in between. At 20, I would have surely enjoyed the intense, long-lasting chocolate note, and there was no such thing as too sweet back then. By the way, it’s the same chocolate note as in Chocolate by Zara. Distinctly chocolatey yet somehow noticeably artificial. The pear is similar. Both start off together, but the chocolate is already a nose-length ahead after the first 5 minutes, while the pear gradually lags behind, though still within sniffing distance.
It lasts about 3 hours for sure, maybe even longer, but I washed it off. Not because it was bothersome; it’s not intrusive or overpowering.
I like such simple, 1,2,3 ingredient scents; they are often a relief in their simplicity, but I prefer, especially with such scents, to be largely synthetic-free.
