Perfect for Valentine's Day
I'm glad to have received mail from Rocher again.
Maybe I'll find something for Valentine's Day for myself?
My husband dismisses this day as "consumer-oriented" - but I don't.
I like these "alibi days" for gifts - because I enjoy giving. To myself and to others.
So I hurry to the Rocher store and immediately reflect on the addition of "Love" on the Mon Rouge Blossom bottle.
I'm a bit hesitant to spray it, as I didn't like the original "Mon Rouge."
But often the flankers are nicer than the original.
And that's the case here as well.
Love is truly lovely in its delicate floralness, cooled by neroli.
It also has a refreshing quality.
The jasmine is bright, and the bergamot is lively and invigorating.
The manageable ingredients are well balanced - and wear very pleasantly.
Even my critical husband hums a "good" into his three-day beard - which is much better than if he were to throw open the window with a sour expression.
So the mood is excellent with "Love" - and I have indeed found the right thing for Valentine's Day.
