Two-Dimensional Ombre Nomade
I was able to snag one of the last bottles, which unfortunately meant that with the sell-out of the fragrance, the official description from Michael Salazar's side also disappeared.
Raspy Oud contains genuine Cambodian and Assam oud, which provides a distinctly animalic base.
The strange thing, however, is that the intense raspberry note, which actually makes up the top and heart, lasts the longest. 24 hours after wearing it and after a shower, this note is still perceptible. Luckily, because I find the combination very successful, although I also assume a certain synthetic quality in this case due to the extreme longevity of the actual top note.
Since I only perceive slightly tart (bergamot) raspberry and the oud, but neither jasmine nor tuberose, and these two detectable scents are clearly distinguishable from each other, I consider Raspy Oud to be a two-dimensional, albeit better, version of Ombre Nomade. There is no progression. A great fragrance.
