Intense, unique vanilla---floral, spicy
Sampling Aromas de Salazar Vanillac Fantasy, a sweet, spicy, floral vanilla with an ensemble of almond, jasmine, heliotrope, patchouli, tonka, birch, musk, and resins. It has a lot going on, too much for me effectively to sort out, but its intense mix merits attention and strikes me as fairly unique, quite raw, not subdued or suppressed it all, very intense. I get a bit of a cosmetic-type iris smell, so referential hints to say, Dior Homme Intense, or more feminine expressions, even, but this is still quite innovative and merits trying by fans of vanilla and vanilla-adjacent fragrances, I’d say. Overall this further adds diversity to the catalogue.
Vanillac Fantasy is priced at $175 for 50ml, roughly in the middle of the catalogue, and is sold via the house website and Perfumology, quite reasonable for the performance, obvious quality, and innovation.
