Terra - Earth
This fragrance series by Paolo Gigli is dedicated to the 4 elements.
This one symbolizes the Earth.
The bottle is also green, reflecting the green meadows, forests, and lush ground.
Now the opening is milky, the scent of freshly milked milk, determined by cows standing on green, juicy pastures. Coconut now bathes in the bowl made of sandalwood in the fresh milk, and someone has picked strawberries and placed them inside. So creamy yet simultaneously fresh, Terra smells at the beginning.
This bowl is now placed on a table next to a blooming bouquet of flowers. The scent of the flowers (orchids and jasmine) mingles with the delicious gourmand scent that rises from the milk bowl; the sandalwood scent is now clearly recognizable. Then a breeze of gentle vanilla is added to the milk bowl, and everything blends into an olfactory total work of art.
The fragrance components harmonize perfectly with each other; none disturb, poke, or are overly dominant.
For me, it is a soft, delicious floral gourmand scent that does not appear "thin," but rather is richly layered and profound without being penetrating, extremely sweet, or intrusive.

Noble Quiet Walker
My blind participation in sharing this fragrance can probably be attributed to my unwavering enthusiasm for Alhambra from the house of Gigli. At the time of entering the sharing list, I had not yet had the rather sobering experience with Maestrale - however, I had already made my first order of this fragrance, so I approached Terra with rather lowered expectations.

Not such a bad decision, because what greets me at the start has nothing to do with the images that might come to mind with this name. A bowl of generously sugared strawberries, garnished with a considerable number of candied flower petals and drizzled with creamy heliotrope sauce almost metaphorically pulls the fillings from my teeth, and this is despite the fact that I usually do quite well with sweet fragrances.

Fortunately, I am spared an emergency visit to the dentist, as the unbearably sweet scent, in my opinion, slowly retreats after about a quarter of an hour. The fragrance remains sweet; however, it now develops into a very creamy-powdery direction. I can only interpret the woods and amber listed in the fragrance pyramid into this creaminess with a lot of imagination, but they are probably responsible for the opulence and density of the scent. Here, a thick nourishing cream settles on my skin, and I can no longer say what it actually smells like, except that the whole thing gives me a noble, fine, well-balanced impression.

That, however, is also my "problem" with the fragrance, as aside from the top note, the absolute inconspicuousness of its components makes it somewhat faceless, bloodless. Another problem is the absolutely subterranean sillage of this costly little treasure, in my opinion. After about an hour, I can only perceive it when I am close to the sprayed skin with my nose. There, it smells quite opulent, fine, and noble, but with only a slight distance from the skin … nothing more, nada, niente - an impression that was also confirmed by those around me. When I wanted to enter my daytime fragrance on my side this afternoon, I actually had to think about what I had applied; even my nose directly on the arm I sprayed in the morning did not immediately bring enlightenment.

All in all, a pleasing, nice, pleasant nose-pleaser that, however, does not let me fall into a frenzy of enthusiasm, not least because of its more than reserved appearance. With a fragrance in this price range, there simply needs to be a bit more, something unmistakable, something special.

0815 in a beautiful bottle
Actually, this perfume wasn't worth a comment to me, but I can't find my feelings about Terra in any other review, so I will share my very personal impression myself:

Let me briefly explain my approach to testing new scents.
I test almost blindly.
That means, I simply pull a sample from my treasure chest, read, if legible and without glasses on my nose readable, at most the perfume name. Then I spray it and observe for at least 24 to 48 hours. Only then do I enter the perfume here in the search field and read about it.
It's really exciting and often holds great surprises.

So it was with Terra.
The top note smelled fresh, slightly floral, with a rather minty-herbaceous tone. (-> Strawberry? Coconut? No, just barely the lemon is recognizable)
Then, in a gentle transition, the heart note followed and developed towards licorice - could that be the mix of heliotrope with jasmine and orchid? No idea!
Unfortunately, the interesting heart lasts only a maximum of 1-2 hours, and it leaves a
floral sweet base. This lasts exceptionally long - still clearly noticeable on my clothing after 14 hours. Otherwise, hardly any sillage, everything remains very close to the skin.
In summary:
Well, quite nice, but unremarkable and no recognizability.

All the more I was amazed when I saw the price of this scent.
People, really? "Quite nice" and "not even average" can be found much cheaper and better.
PS: what this has to do with "earth" is a mystery to me.

A Fragrance, the Emergence of Humanity
Terra describes all that makes up humanity and its existence on Earth.

Mother's milk, subtly fruity, strawberry-like, is sensed at the first sniff. So clean and pure, cozy and familiar!

Can you imagine how a baby smells, its downy hair, untouched by baths?

That's how Terra smells! Innocent and delicate, well-groomed, clean, and extraordinarily human! Not earthy at all, as one might infer from the name!

Floral, yet lightly, the fragrance develops and remains present, without overwhelming, milky, creamy, and noble.

It won't make it into my collection, the theme doesn't resonate with me, but Terra is wonderful!

Milk Powder
Terra is one of the four fragrances in the I Quattro Elementi series, but it has nothing earthy or grounded about it. On the contrary, it is rather sweet-powdery.
In the opening and heart notes, Terra reminds me of the several years older Max Mara. Both share the same sweet synthetic opening, which does not repel me, but I do not find it pleasant. Then, both become sweet-creamy. While Max Mara transforms into a true sugar bomb softened with ginger pieces and some citrus splashes, showcasing the typical sweet musk drydown found in many fragrances of recent years, Terra develops a kind of milk powder note, a sweet-milky-creamy base mood, ultimately finishing sweet-powdery accompanied by a very subtle soapy note like an exclusive care product.

Vanilla-sweet floral scent with lots of creamy sandalwood and no significant development. Overall, it's nice but unfortunately also interchangeable.

The name made me expect earthy-warm-heavy or spicy! And then such a fruity-thin, interchangeable little water!

Smells like strawberry daiquiri and expensive lipstick - very delicious, but why Terra? (Organic strawberries?) Still a lovely summer scent!

Fruity coconut, creamy and very sweet - not bad, but not for me. Reminds me a bit of Sublime and Montaigne.
