Barbershoprock
After "Arome 3" was on yesterday, now the "Tradition" version came into play. Both lavender scents. But there the commonality also almost stop...
"Arome 3 Tradition" is much greener and more tart than its gentle, slightly undercooled sister scent. "Tradition" is even more shave, beard and chest hair than the "normal" one. Super mossy, super nice on its own. Also with a lot more oomph. A barber's bull. Almost a bit biting and gruff. Especially at the beginning. But I like it. Has character, has resinous notes, has something of Caron's landmark buzzed with macho attitude. Yet with a warm heart. Fougere with a spear. It's a good one. Especially when it's dimmed down a bit at the back and it unfolds comfortably and fully and almost blossoms anew through the warm skin and stays.
Flacon: same procedure as nearly every d'Orsay
Sillage: exemplary brünfstig
Durability: 6-7 hours wet shave
Conclusion: a dry-masculine lavender altrocker between pleasant and gruff. Shaving cure in a big way. Better than most of today's lavender accidents. No tradition, but the worlds reward
