Living its name
Similar to the mentally disorganized Mad Hatter character, this scent is simultaneously all over the place. It’s pretty divisive but I’m down with how MH’s seemingly disparate notes morph into beautiful chaos.
The initial brown booze is sweetened by the condensed milk. The leather note masculinizes this from being a “too-sweet, girly” gourmand. The butter makes the saffron more “edible,” but the black tea grounds MH from going cloyingly sweet. This fragrance is seriously a wild ride.
Is it a safe blind buy? Absolutely not. Is it a safe blind buy for people who love each note? No. Please sample before buying a full bottle.
