Make up your mind
Elixir Attar is known for using only the best of the best in their fragrances, especially with rare raw materials such as ambergris or oud. However, this fragrance does not run through the company's history. In general, the fragrance is not very complex and doesn't have that WOW effect in my opinion.
The fragrance starts with a very strong bergamot paired with minimal pepper but very strong aniseed. Unfortunately, I can't agree with the other statements about the raspberry. In my opinion, it flies minimally in the background. The fragrance then develops predominantly in the spicy-sweet direction of jasmine, with heliotrope and ylang-ylang making little to no appearance. The base is smoky, with a resinous undertone and some green oakmoss, but nothing noteworthy.
If I were to summarize this fragrance, in my opinion it is not a sweet and definitely not a fruity fragrance. It's more of a spicy fragrance that can't decide whether it's more citrusy or resinous. Would I choose this fragrance again, no.
