Just plain awful
All of Rogue Perfumery's fragrances are categorized as unisex. However, Rogue's website has the fragrances divided into a Men's page and a Women's page. Tuberose & Moss is only found on the Women's page. Nevertheless, since it's sold as a unisex fragrance, I'm reviewing it from my male point of view.

Simply put, Tuberose and Moss is a totally feminine perfume. There's no way I could wear it. It opens with a blast of a strong floral tuberose. Didn't get much more than that. Fortunately, I only sprayed it on my wrist. After 30 minutes, I had to scrub it off. Nothing more to say.

Sublime tuberose
THIS is a tuberose for connoisseurs. Radiant tuberose with a subtle dose of cream -- genius! Oakmoss in the drydown adds some elegance. It's really a simple perfume, but it is done masterfully. I had to order a full bottle immediately because I would absolutely loathe myself if it were suddenly discontinued. This is the greatest tuberose fragrance I have ever encountered. Fracas is a joke in comparison.

the faded photo of Siouxsie Sioux reading Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit that never existed in this world
Rogue Perfumerie's Tuberose & Moss is a recommendation I received from writer and journalist Rachel Syme over on Twitter. I asked for a scent that smelled like Tasha Tudor's goth great-grandaughter, and she recommended to me Tuberose & Moss. This is a stunning scent and if I'm honest, I'm annoyed at myself that she knew of it before I did. It's plush white florals and earthy leathery dreamy oakmoss and woody, close-to-the-skin musk; it's classic perfumery with a wink. While there's definitely that sense of powdery, vintage glamour, it's lensed through a cracked-looking glass, there's something shimmering and strange about it too. It's the faded photo of Siouxsie Sioux reading Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit that never existed in this world, but I'm certain it does in some other reality.

Tuberose & Powdery Oakmoss...
Tuberose & Moss opens with with an only slightly indolic white floral tuberose supported by bright bergamot citrus and a tinge of relatively light green oakmoss before transitioning to its heart. As the composition reaches its early heart the slightly indolic tuberose remains the focus, with the green oakmoss taking a supporting role, melding with moderately powdery, slightly sweet vanilla rising from the base. During the late dry-down the tuberose remains, but yields to the now more potent relatively powdery slightly green oakmoss and vanilla mix that takes the fore through the finish sans sweetness. Projection is above average and longevity excellent at over 12 hours on skin.

I like Tuberose & Moss, but don’t love it. I am not much of a tuberose fan on a good day (at least not me personally wearing it) except when it is presented in a much lighter, brighter form like the presentation used in compositions like Champs Lunaires and Richard James Savile Row. Unfortunately here the balance is weighted for a good deal of the development towards the tuberose, and in a form that is darker than the aforementioned Champs Lunaires, but not as dark as Flos Mortis, with the oakmoss and vanilla providing quite a bit of powder late (a presentation choice of both notes that I dislike). I wish perfumer Cross would have focused more on the mossy green aspect of the oakmoss then its powdery facet as that would have been a better balance for the moderately dark tuberose. I enjoyed the composition more early-on, but as time passed the powder really got to me and my enjoyment diminished. The bottom line is the $140 per 60 ml bottle Tuberose & Moss impresses early but disappoints a bit late, yielding a "good" 3 stars out of 5 rating and a neutral recommendation except to tuberose and powder lovers who might find it a good match for their taste.

Tuberose and Moss - Rogue
One of the better offerings in the Rogue collection!
It doesn't have much change as it develops, but I like its structure enough that I want it to stay just the same. I also like that the strength doesn't diminish as quickly as the other ones in the collection.
Starts as a classic tuberose - creamy, fatty, slightly indolic. There's some tartness there and a honey heady aspect to it. And there's a small bed of soft greens behind it if you smell deeply.
I get whiffs of this off my skin once in a while, illuminating different aspects - the green, the full bodied headiness, the tart - and it's delicious.
I think Cross could've gone even farther with the moss and made it more green. But still, good.

One of the most beautiful and indolic tuberose I own! Yummy, creamy, vintage and female. At the base, oakmoss gives a cyprian touch

Tuberose & Moss is a lush, creamy tuberose with green nuances, vintage charm and a natural chypre base of oakmoss and sweet vanilla.

After an uplifting citric spicy-green opening, this warm and creamy/sweet earthy-floral Chypre, settles to a dry and musky earthy-woody base

White floral tuberose with a heaping dose of oakmoss. Gets more tuberosic as it dries down. Underlaid with a soft, creamy vanilla. Unisex.

Light and non-indolic creamy tuberose on a bed of soft green, lightened with a tiny hint of citrus. Easy and likeable.

Elegant tuberose, creamy-soapy, subtly spiced, and on a slightly mossy base. 80s opulence in its purest form. Makes quite an impression.

Come, dear May, and make
The tuberoses green
And let vanilla moss
Bloom by the brook
Oh, how I would love
To spray myself with sunshine...
