Freshness of a Different Kind
The DNA of Kajal Homme II was unfamiliar to me. I assume the blend is influenced by Middle Eastern perfumery. No one will smell like you when you wear this. I doubt if anyone in my friend circle has ever heard of Kajal Perfumes.

There is an airy freshness to Homme II that immediately demands attention. Invigorating, happy, encouraging, optimistic are adjectives that come to mind. After spraying it the first time I knew I had entered a different fragrance community.

Homme II opens fresh, citrusy and green. The peach and cinnamon join the party quickly and takes the scent to the next level. It is immediately lovable! The projection is great but not unfriendly. It confidently introduces itself but it is kind. The longevity on my skin is 8-10 hours. Sillage is moderate after the first two hours but I got whiffs of it for 7-8 hours. Performance is not a problem.

Many consider sweetness the dominant accord but it does not present itself as a typical sweet fragrance to me. The green, citrus, and amber notes are so finely blended that the sweetness is mild. To me it is so smooth that it transcends hardened classifications. To my naive nose, it is as fresh as it is sweet. The balance of the peach and woods in the dry down moderates the sweetness and adds maturity. I am not good with the “fragrance lingo”. Some of this may be incorrect but my enjoyment and appreciation of Homme II is the real thing. This is why I bought a bottle after my third full wearing.

Spring, summer and fall are the seasons made for Homme II. Every occasion except nights out is an opportunity to wear it. However, overspraying may be an option.

Homme II is not my favorite fragrance. It’s not in my Top 10 but for daily wear it’s Top 10 and rising. It’s an easy reach that speaks eloquently. Try before you buy but, if fragrance collecting is your thing, I doubt you will regret buying a decant.

where mystery begins
In any field, innovating is a challenge — even more so when you're dealing with a classic.
Here, Kajal Homme II takes the traditional codes of men's perfumery and adds its own unique twist. Some say it carries an Arabic influence — and it really does make all the difference.

Lavender and woody notes place it firmly in the “barbershop” territory, while peach, citrus, and heavier, smoother notes push it into something more exotic.

This is an all-terrain fragrance — the kind that makes you feel unique, special, without ever overwhelming the people around you.
It lives in the in-between — and isn’t that exactly where mystery begins?

Spicy Peach Shampoo
Dear peach lovers,

today we are talking about Kajal Homme II. A fragrance that I had to have based on the initial descriptions, as I am looking for a really good peach scent that is more suitable for men after the rather solid Kirke and Erba Pura. So I happily participated in the sharing and ordered 5ml for an in-depth test.
Kajal Homme II starts fruity-green and slightly heads in the direction of H24-Hermes, albeit only for a short time. The green notes come across as anything but outdated, rather modern and understated in combination with the mandarin. In the background, a peach note in an oriental guise is already announcing itself, which I really like. Up to this point, the fragrance is very promising and ranks among the top 10 of everything I have tested so far. Unfortunately, unfortunately…..it doesn’t stay that way.
Some Parfumo users criticize the increasing sweetness and synthetic quality. For my part, I can partially agree. The fragrance does become sweeter, but not overly so, even though the opening was significantly more promising. What particularly bothers me is the very synthetic musk note, which seems to increasingly take over the fragrance. The green-oriental peach turns into slightly spicy peach shampoo. This doesn't ruin the fragrance entirely, no, I still quite like it, but it makes the promising opening fade and diminishes my willingness to pay nearly €200 for the bottle.
I can also only partially understand the current ratings regarding longevity and sillage. At best, the fragrance lasts just under 7 hours on my skin, which is acceptable by my standards, but neither really solid nor good. The sillage is quite present within the first 90-120 minutes, but then increasingly becomes skin-close. I would compare the projection to Club de Nuit Intense Man edP. It can be noticed, it’s still there when you don’t expect it, but it doesn’t fill rooms or remain extremely present for hours.
The bottle is stylish, no question about it. I cannot evaluate the sprayer, but I quite like the cap. It’s a pity that the bottle is not see-through, as that is always a minus point for me.
Otherwise, I would recommend Kajal Homme II to all Parfumo users looking for an oriental peach that is exceptional yet easy to like, as well as to anyone who doesn’t mind shampooed musk too much and is still willing to spend a lot of money on a fragrance. Kajal Homme II will probably not be my peach of choice. However, I would be very grateful for tips and suggestions in this direction!

As always: Thank you very much for reading!

Category Layton with Peach
The scent is definitely well-received by most at first. Category Layton, here with a decent peach note. The two fragrances do not smell the same; it is more about the scent direction (fresh/fruity/sweet with a hint of spice...) and the younger target audience that is similar. Date scent, spring, compliments, etc. etc..

In the top note, it is very fresh at the beginning, and then the sweet peach takes over. Everything around it is composed very softly and roundly. Super harmonious!
The problem for me personally is the slightly increasing synthetic note after a few hours, which triggers associations with one of my shampoos, although this is not a quality criterion... it’s like with YSL Y; initially top, but it shifts into headaches and aversion the longer I smell it.

I would still recommend giving the scent a chance, as perception is individually different and not everyone is bothered by certain notes. Longevity & sillage are also great. The scent will surely find many lovers!

Great Peach Scent with a Strong Spice
A new review of one of my favorite brands on the market: Kajal. This brand from Paris particularly appeals to me, and especially the fruity notes are always very well executed. After "Kajal Homme | Kajal," this II offers another great daytime fragrance that could already be described as an all-rounder and everyday scent. In Kajal's range, there are much bigger attention-grabbers that are really seductive with their fruity DNA and are also outstanding. What I like about these two Hommes is the mix where several facets are combined, making them great for everyday wear due to these multifaceted notes. Even though this one is quite pleasing, I wouldn't recommend a blind buy here, as this is quite a wild mix that some might not find so harmonious. I like the DNA of Homme II, which has no fragrance twin that comes close. Stylistically, this is a scent that could be compared to "DesirToxic | M. Micallef." It has little to do with the first part "Kajal Homme | Kajal." Similar to the "Original," it possesses a wild mix with many angles and edges.

Price-wise, this brand is reasonable, as you can always find some good offers in various shops. The MSRP of over €200 would be way too high for me for this. The packaging is a simple box that is always nice to look at. Even more beautiful are the bottles, which are absolutely stunning. Here, they shine in a bronze tone. The patterns and the cap are also absolutely dreamy.
With this EdP, you get a scent that actually features peach in the lead role. At first, it sounds very unisex or, for some, a bit feminine, but it is not. Especially since a noble and strong spice always resonates and has created a great everyday note from the DNA. It is a wonderful mix of fresh fruity notes, spice, a bit of wood, and a not too strong sweetness. Peach can be sensed; otherwise, this is a great mix that is wild, and many notes do not stand out "naked" as the notes are well intertwined. The woody notes of cedar and sandalwood are also not lacking and provide this pleasant woody background. Additionally, many classic notes are at work that contribute to this great everyday DNA: lavender, a bit of sage, patchouli, citrus, and also some warm amber. The base becomes very soft with a slightly mossy tone and wood, musk, and a subtle sweetness. Similar to the Kajal Homme, it is a wild mix that does not dictate a clear note or style. But it is already an interesting mix that will work well in everyday life.
Performance is in the solid range. Of course, this brand has significantly better ones, but for a daytime scent in this style, Homme II does its job well. Sillage is very solid, and the first hours are very pleasantly radiating. Even later on, it remains quite good. Longevity should be somewhere between 8 and 10 hours.

Overall, a great everyday scent with a wild fruity-spicy mix. I like it a lot and it is unique as it stands out a bit from the common styles for everyday wear. One should test it before buying, as it might be too unharmonious for some. I like this wonderful spice with this fruity peach note. Thumbs up once again for this great brand.

I don't get the intense sweet peach note here, it's subtle. Very aromatic spicy clean masculine barbershop like. Vibes of sauvage elixir etc

A mix of undefined fruity notes, greenery, spice, and woodiness on musk. It doesn't smell unpleasant, but it leaves me quite indifferent.

Nice mix of fruit, spice, and woodiness. With a lot of imagination, the synthetic sweetness could really be peach. Musky base is sugary-artificial.

Doesn't evoke anything in me. Some citrus, lavender, and something like peach, then sweet and musky. Kind of boring for me.

It makes it clearly better for me than Kajal I and evokes a peach-apple vibe that I really like.
