Life can be so simple
Red wine seems to fill the sky
The big yellow sun
is slowly going to sleep
tepid rain soaks the
dry tobacco fields
just one small sip of rum
and then I tie the harvest together I must honestly admit this summer was ideal the climate nearly perfect my end result was delicious and sufficient after I slowly pressed and fermented the tobacco in an oak barrel sweet aromas unfolded carried by nougat and sweetened with honey tea then I very gently dried the tobacco with guava peels a fruity accord inevitably emerged The end result is shiny black resin nuggets that only release their full spice when smoked they can be smoked in a pipe or vaporized over incense.
I prefer both variations as different brown and green tones do not want to subordinate themselves.
Sunset in Havana is a tobacco experience of the highest class I'm not talking about Half Zware Shag from the gas station nor about shisha tobacco in a bar it is very nature-bound. The scent starts for me dark herbal, spicy earthy (tobacco) and delicate nougat resin (galbanum) warm honey chamomile and cold smoke (labdanum) the fruity accord of guava combines with a nicotine-like bitterness. When vaporized, everything is present from ash to hot amber glow of course the rum-soaked raisins must not be missing a dollop of vanilla and occasionally gray fossil amber rounds it off.
I also notice beaver leather in the finish which makes me pause
but that’s nice
Such beautiful nature
pure tobacco enjoyment with wood without frills.
these are merely my flights of fancy! but that’s how I felt it.
Thank you Matze8338 for the testing opportunity :)
