Cool, Green, Refreshing
I love this category of fragrance and found Bergamot & Hinoki to be an excellent addition to my collection of “autumn in a Pacific Northwest forest” type scents. The zingy-but-not-sharp citrus opening leads beautifully into a fresh green bouquet. It fades relatively quickly, but leaves a refreshingly pointed, almost musky finish for a while.
The scent has me envisioning that I ate a pomelo for breakfast then went on a nature walk on a cool autumn day through the forest. Along the way, I grabbed a handful of different leaves, needles, & fronds from nearby trees and plants, then rubbed them all together in my hands and sniffed—the citrus still on my fingers mixing into the slightly piney greenery.
