Everything has its time… of transience and passion
Pale light filters through the small skylight. Dusty light sparks dance over the wooden table.
Cold ash, an extinguished cigarette, a rusty letter opener. Dried ink on yellowed blotting paper.
You open the desk drawer. A biting, resinous smell crawls out. Small, old plastic boxes with unidentifiable contents next to dried tobacco remnants. A photo of an old typewriter crumbles to dust before your eyes…
How long…? From whom…? Why…?
You sit down on the dusty swivel chair. You have time. Your imagination finds answers…
…
This fragrance experience starts for me with an undefinable stench. Almost water and soap could have ended it prematurely. But there is something that prevents me from doing so. Images appear, dark, shifting, alternating between corrosive liquid from the poison cabinet… charred plastic debris from the 70s… crumpled photos… old, sharp tobacco… and dusty attic clutter… Slowly, the scent becomes tobacco-resinous, dark. It stays that way for quite a while.
An interesting fragrance experience, definitely not a wearable perfume for me.
A big thank you, dear FrauKirsche!!
