Hawaiian Tanning Oil

Ok so I chose to wear this today before bringing a review on it. I listened to and read many reviews on this fragrance before purchase.. everyone said the same thing, minor differences between the reviews. First off this thing is unisex right down the middle.. why? Because it smells IDENTICAL to tanning oil! It’s not sun screeny at all but tanning oil scent.. this thing is amazing quality! Amazing longevity! It’s not overly sweet, it’s actually airy, soft, insane Sillage and WHIMSICAL.. you don’t know if it’s tight to the skin or floating around you. It does both. I love it. It’s very unique for its profile because most in this genre of scents are creamy lotion like, how they managed to capture the texture of tanning oil instead of lotion when all scents like this usually carry the same notes is so special. I love this scent and I’ll be buying a backup bottle of this. It’s blended where nothing stands out more than the other. Truly. It’s florals with meaty coconut vanilla. The vanilla isn’t sweet the vanilla is adolescent and doesn’t know how to be vanilla if you ask me. It’s shy and let’s all the other notes surround her while she holds hands with the coconut who is the adult here.

Coconut for Autumn/Winter

This is what I was looking for! A coconut scent that doesn’t smell like the beach, suitable for winter.

So first of all, nothing against summery beach scents - I grew up by the beach and love such fragrances. But sometimes I want coconut in winter! And this one has such a subtle coconut note that seamlessly blends with the vanilla and ylang-ylang notes.

I must admit that I don’t perceive the peach. Instead, there’s an almost spicy note like a ghost note - the vanilla is by no means plain, but is beautifully accentuated by the woody notes.

Longevity could be a bit better. I sprayed this scent on my wrist before studying and had to keep sniffing it because it was so wonderfully fluffy. Towards the end of the study session, I noticed the scent less and less. Maybe I became noseblind: I can’t fully blame the perfume for that, as I had to keep sniffing it :D

Ylang Ylang is clear, like the South Sea dream

This scent is pure South Sea in a bottle for me. From the very first spray, I am reminded of white sandy beaches with palm trees and warm sun rays. The opening with coconut and peach is creamy, juicy, and instantly sunny - but not clumsy or artificial. It’s more the kind of coconut you find in a freshly cracked nut under a palm tree, with exotic sweetness.

In the heart, the true magic unfolds: jasmine, Tiaré flower, and ylang-ylang form a floral bouquet reminiscent of a tropical flower garden. The ylang-ylang is particularly remarkable - it is present but very harmoniously integrated. Where it often comes across as too heavy and waxy in other fragrances, here it remains soft, airy, and gives it that unmistakable, slightly narcotic exoticism without ever being overwhelming. It feels like walking through a blooming jungle, where the splendor of the flowers almost takes your breath away, yet is simultaneously embracing and soothing.

Vanilla and white musk envelop the skin and senses, while woody notes add depth. This makes the fragrance not only an airy tropical dream but also develops a certain warmth that reminds one of an evening on an island - when the sun slowly sinks into the sea and the air is still full of floral scent, like Thailand, Bali, Philippines, hot and flowery.

The longevity is strong without being intrusive, the sillage is rather medium-high - perfect for creating a tropical aura for both oneself and others.

Anyone who loves scents with beach vibes will not be disappointed: This is not a simple coconut sunscreen scent, but a balanced, intricately composed creation that evokes real wanderlust. For me, it is a little piece of paradise in everyday life - dreamy, like in the flower jungle.

Reminds me a lot of Monoi de Tahiti by YR. South Sea feeling, sun oil, tanned skin, pink-white flowers in the hair. Lush & dense. Almost no coconut.
