Alien Extraintense
Bubblegummy Alien with a subtle background of vanilla creaminess. I actually prefer this to the current OG; although the jasmine is still a heavy presence it’s not as screechy. It’s also much more wearable on warmer days. Paired with Sol de Janiero 59 it’s an absolute dream. Given my experience of this one, I feel “extraintense” is a potentially misleading name.

Creamy, Green Alien Sweetness
Alien Extraintense is distinctly Alien. The creamy jasmine is very similar to the original. I was expecting the vanilla in this flanker, but the greenness took me by surprise, in a good way! There’s a subtle, slightly tangy spice (I’m guessing what’s interpreted as Cardamom in the notes) that keeps this from being cloying. This might be one of my favorite Alien flankers so far.

perfect for spring!
not as strong as the og alien (in my opinion) BUT you can still easily go overboard with it! (to the point where, when i do more than two spritzes it’s giving me a headache lol) it reminds me of a warm spring evening in a seaside town. super sweet and soft. this is a perfect perfume if you want to make sure people know you’re in the room but aren’t supposed to get a headache from it. whenever i have it on i find myself sniffing it every once in a while lol doesn’t last long though, unfortunately.

Brutal creamy neroli. What?!
Ahhh. This is unfortunate.

I dislike Alien Goddess, and there's something about the coconut along with the vanillic florals in it that is unique to AG, I can pick it out in a crowd. This also has that specific DNA within. I'm surprised there's no coconut listed within this, because I find it creamy from some angles, verging on sunscreen-y. But loud. I'm not sure, maybe it's the "cashmeran" that bugs me.

I don't think this even realistically smells like tuberose (which is fine, Mugler isn't known for realism, but rather synthetic, bold hyperdoses of certain notes), it smells more like a lactonic, very vanillic, very artifical neroli. Weird, I know. That's the best I can describe it though.

To me, it feels disjointed and synthetic in an unpleasant way rather than a creatively stunning way (I love all of the original pillar fragrances).

It's rare for me (this might be a first) for me to dislike a Ropion creation, but I just don't enjoy this and in similar fashion to Alien Goddess...it almost gives me a headache. I find myself physically recoiling from it.

Lilac Bush
This specimen is, as the name suggests, really even stronger and more intrusive than the original Alien. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, provided it is used thoughtfully.
Here, I definitely smell Alien; it is unmistakable. What comes into my nose now is lilac and cucumber. Yes, you read that right!
I can pick out extra ingredients in the Extraintense. The indicated tuberose makes the scent even sweeter than it already was and almost overwhelmingly floral. It’s as if A Drop d'Issey Eau de Parfum was mixed with Alien and tuberose.
An Alien is drinking a cucumber smoothie under the lilac bush from a tuberose chalice.
After that, it is narcotized.
Not a bad smell, but very floral-sweet, and it could become a bit overwhelming.
So please do not overdo the Extraintense dosing.

I’m obsessed with Alien, and my husband is obsessed with Extraintense, either way it’s a win. I love the ombré design of the bottle, too.

The opening reminds me of MMM Replica Beach Walk. Then it goes in a different direction.

To me this is nice, but not inherently different from the original. This has a more rounded feel to it, but packs a bigger punch too.

Strong, nearly animalic, tuberose that dissipates suddenly to a warm vanilla skin scent. Weird in a way that is not particularly enjoyable.

Alien - the endless saga, here comes episode 999. Title "Alien goes Summer", because it has a breezy floral cashmeran solar notes dress°

For me, it's almost more enjoyable than the Alien mother, as this jasmine note feels more suitable for everyday wear and less intense.

Synthetic white flowers turned up to the max. It's all very one-dimensional, sweet, and I find it clumsy.
