God of knowing how to cook?
If I remember correctly, Quetzalcoatl is a god of wisdom, knowledge, learning. So why a gourmand scent? Is it a god of cooking knowledge? The opening is cocoa with booze and spices, then the buttery note comes through with the rum. The sweetness disappears in the dry-down, replaced by soft oud. I don't notice javanol as much as I thought I would, the spices cover it up (and I ain't complaining). I really like this scent despite it's potentially edible quality :D I like the persistent nuttiness from the almond, and I like the spices, and the butter. Don't quite see a connection to Quetzalcoatl (except for cocoa but it's too on the nose, no?), but it's a nice scent anyway.
