Fleurie Emerald Riiffs 2025

As a huge fan of Lira Eau de Parfum I naturally had to try this alternative. And I have to say, it really comes incredibly close to the original.

The opening is almost identical to Lira Eau de Parfum . Right from the start, you get this incredibly delicious impression of lemon cake. To me, it is a combination of slightly bitter lemon peel and the zesty oil of a freshly cut blood orange. This exact combination makes the opening so special.

After a few minutes, the fragrance changes slightly. In the drydown, Fleurie Emerald becomes a little more floral and also somewhat sweeter. The vanilla is pleasantly soft and develops into a slightly spicy, wintery base with a subtle citrusy touch. Lira Eau de Parfum comes across as somewhat more complex and deeper overall, and it also lasts longer on my skin. You can already notice that when comparing the two directly.

However, I personally barely notice the licorice note that so many people talk about. As a licorice fan, I probably would have noticed it immediately. When I think of a fragrance with a distinct licorice note, Sauvage Elixir comes to mind instead. To me, that impression is many times stronger there than it is here.

Fortunately, the musk also stays in the background. I am not usually a big fan of it, but here it simply makes the fragrance feel pleasantly soft without pushing itself to the forefront.

Overall, I find Fleurie Emerald to be somewhat more feminine than Lira. But that would not stop me from wearing it myself or even buying a bottle. To me, this is clearly a fragrance for colder days.

When you also consider the price, things get really interesting. For around 20 euros, you get a truly strong alternative to Lira Eau de Parfum . The sillage and longevity are outstanding for this price range, and the fragrance quality also impressed me.

Anyone who loves the DNA of Lira Eau de Parfum but does not want to pay the price of the original should definitely try Fleury Emerald. For me, this is one of the most successful alternatives I have tested so far.

For some men, however, it might come across as too feminine.

There is a store near me that sells oriental perfumes, and sometimes I go there for a sniffing tour. Yes, I admit I am a packaging victim, and I find the bottle very pretty. So, let's get to work and spray the fragrance. First, just on a strip. I found it very appealing, even though, as you can see from my collection, I’m not really a fan of the scent notes. Especially not of vanilla. In the opening, I can clearly smell the blood orange and lavender, with the lemon being the most prominent for me. The light spiciness is very creamy balanced, and I can't identify it individually. In the drydown, it becomes vanilla-like, and I never thought I would like that so much in this fragrance. Very summery scent notes, but I find it too sweet for summer; I think it will bring me the warmth of summer back now in autumn. Longevity and sillage are great, and the price/performance ratio is absolutely top.
