s.Oliver is my niche?
Yes, why not actually?
Apart from the fact that my name is Oliver and I like the brand for that reason alone, I have to admit that they make really good fragrances! They really do make quite good fragrances! Okay, there are some boring ones and they don't reinvent the wheel. But none of them are really "disgusting".
About the new "Life Time Men": The bottle sits well in the hand and is pleasantly matt. The lid is tight and the sprayer is perfectly fine.
Immediately after spraying it on, I had an alcoholic note in my nose, but after a few seconds it was gone.
According to the fragrance pyramid, I should actually write that it starts off citrusy. After all, two citrus fruits are listed: grapefruit and lemon. However, it seems more fruity than citrusy to me, probably because of the spices.
10 minutes later, lavender and cypress are present, with a woody undertone. For about 3-4 hours I can perceive something like a sillage (this fragrance never projects really strongly), after which the scent remains close to the body for about 2 hours. You may find this disappointing, or it may be exactly what you want. Especially in the office, you don't have to fill the entire room with the scent all day long.
At this price, you can spray a little more generously and top up during your lunch break.
Conclusion: Pleasing, strikingly unobtrusive fragrance for everyday life or work. Fruity, floral, woody. Nothing more, nothing less.
The fragrances from s.Oliver are really worth a try! And they are often under the radar, which is kind of niche, isn't it? :)
