Rain on Oak Scents of Wood 2024

This is quite nice. It reminds me of rain hitting stone, or the smell of wet earth. It reminds me of the Azores on an fresh rainy day. It might be a bit challenging to wear because of how earthy and stone-like it smells, but it's quite lovely. In my opinion, it's a photorealistic depiction of a rainy day. As with everything, try before you buy. But if you are looking for a petrichor type of scent, this fragrance is a solid option for that. I was quite happy with my sample and I think it's one of the better fragrances from Scents of Wood. Otherwise, I would wear Hinoki in Hinoki if it wasn't so masculine on the dry-down. Rain on Oak is definitely a more gender-neutral option.
