Fig d'Azur
The green, spring-like fig - still not my thing. But "Riviera Sport" is nevertheless a very chic, extraordinary Greeny & Sporty that even entertains a fig opponent quite well most of the time & almost reconciles them with the fragrance note. I appreciate that highly, and it speaks to its special friendliness, brightness, and sportiness. Chic, sunny & luxuriously casual, it brings the Riviera to McFit. And fig, especially made this well, is not often found in sporty places or even in perfumes. Here and there as a special delicacy note in both niche and designer areas, but generally still a rarity. A shame for fans of the green-milky fruit (?), fine for me.
However, "Riviera Sport" is more than just fine. Rather really good, great in summer or in the evening after showering. For fans of Marc Jacobs Men or Yuzu by Caron. A zesty fig scent, where you quickly know what you're getting & it goes its linear way. Perhaps on other bodies, whose noses do not react so sensitively to the fragrance note, it might not be so "figgy," but for me, this one ranks above all else. Bergamot start, orange blossom in the middle & cedar as the base, but the star of the party is the fig. A star to touch & not at all intrusive. Natural, watery, sporty with style.
Bottle: the Schlossparfumerie, of course.
Longevity & sillage: in both disciplines quite precisely on the ideal sports line - at least 5 hours.
Conclusion: a sporty fig that does little wrong & entertains pleasantly in the sun. Not a blockbuster, but enjoyable entertainment for the convertible.
