Adee, Schloßparfümerie!
December. Quite warm.
It’s raining. The umbrella is out.
Thank God.
King Street.
More chains than owner-operated shops.
Most of it is junk.
At least the Tritschler is still there.
And the Hat Hanne.
I’ve seen them too.
That Christmas is approaching is only noticeable by one thing:
It smells like fat from all the snacks.
Especially from the School Street.
And a heap of construction sites.
Everywhere.
But I see a light at the end of the tunnel. From a shop window.
Roja Dove, beautifully arranged.
Schloßparfümerie.
I’m a bit excited already.
It’s just a store.
But I still have respect every time.
Portal, gold.
I take a deep breath and go inside.
Chandeliers.
Noble sales counters made of shiny wood.
There, the precious one stood on the shelf.
"Hello!"
Difficult conditions at the cosmetics.
Next to the door a table: Reduced - Collection Heritage from Jean Patou.
I like that.
Saleswoman, about my age:
"Can I help you?"
"Yes, I tried your honey scent last time. I’d like to take that with me."
"Then please come with me. May I spray it for you?"
"No, thank you, I know it already."
"Can I show you something else?"
Big mistake.
"I saw you also carry Caron. Do you have Tabac Blond from them?"
She can spray that for me. The French Cancan by the way too.
And Lady Knize. And Je Reviens. And Habanita.
The woman has the patience of an angel.
If I were my own customer, I would have already twisted her arm.
For Habanita there’s no spot left on my arm.
That’s why I get a fabric sample. With Schloßparfümerie logo.
No silly paper strip.
"What do you personally wear when you work in such a store?"
"I must admit that I actually don’t take any perfume from the store. But otherwise, I particularly like this one."
Quelques Fleurs L’Original Extrait from Houbigant.
It’s getting fuller.
"Ms. Wolff, I’ll help you right away."
Cash register.
"Would you like a little bag?"
"No, thank you, that’s fine."
I still get a sample of Tabac Blond.
Time to go.
Adee, Schloßparfümerie.
I still have my Habanita sample.

Scent:
It starts slightly smoky. Dark.
And sweet. But not too sweet. Just right.
Soon the honey comes through.
Forest honey, slightly bitter.
It stays like that. Almost a whole day.
Only vanilla comes in too.
Amber-vanilla.
Back to Black in a beautiful way.
Dreamy.

Vocabulary:
rägern = to rain
Hugadubel = umbrella
Gruascht = junk, clutter
Tritschler and Hut Hanne, traditional shops

Honey 4 Life
Honey - an eternally sticky elixir of life. From "Back To Black" to "Oajan", from Winnie the Pooh to little bee buzzing around. Who doesn't love you? So the great acclaim that "H - Jubilee" receives here is no surprise. It truly steals the show from its brothers and sisters at the Hofparfumerie Stuttgart. Not too sweet, not too sticky & wonderfully natural - that's how honey should be achieved. Most comparable to the Kilian flagship, both still take enough unique steps to not be considered duplicates.

"H" stands for pure, green-tinged honey for me. Extremely easy to overdo or apply in the wrong weather, but when you have it under control, it is sugar on the soul of every refined gourmand fan. A few buds here, a bit of cedar there - yet the H stands alone & huge in the wide field for a reason. So worthy of a 100-year anniversary! I would actually only wear it to big events & even then only 3 sprays max - today during my all-day test at work or in the cinema, it was a bit uncomfortable. I smelled royally good, however overperfumed if you will. Well, luckily you know me...

A fragrance that one can only rave about... or one must keep it short & diagnose: probably the finest honey scent on the market. On my skin, nothing else comes through except maybe a bit of vanilla & sharp clove at the beginning. Extremely deluxe & noble... only strictly speaking a bit too simple & a "Back To Black" somehow gives me more facets. Smoky, sexy, smoother. This is honey in perfection - no more, but damn sweet again not less. To another 100 - Cheers, Salute, Prost!

Bottle: top: Yawn. Bottom: Awe.
Sillage & longevity: an atomic bomb that is hardly manageable - Caution: Boom lasts 13 hours!

Conclusion: one of the finest honey scents, with a careful approach benefiting everyone. Also probably the noblest drop from the gentlemen & ladies of Stuttgart - I have their complete set here!

A comparison with "Back to Black"!?
Actually, I wanted to write a response to Nasengourmet's comment, but soon realized that what started to form in my brain would exceed the scope of a simple reply.
So here follows my personal reaction report to Nasengourmet's comment: "No comparison with B2B", starting with a little backstory:
I have been searching for my perfect honey scent for a long time, and "Back to Black" (BtB) has really hit the mark ;-)
However, the appearance of the limited edition "H-100 Jubilee" (H) caught my eye at first glance, and the comments about it sounded very promising. I then lingered around MaryPoppins' very fair offer for two days, while the lovely Serduszko, who owns both "BtB" and "H", provided me with the incredibly kind service of comparative test results, and I finally gathered enough courage for a blind purchase.
On Monday morning, Nasengourmet's "response to my question," which had occupied my mind all weekend, jumped out at me: whether "H" is similar enough to the fine "BtB." There it was: "No comparison with B2B"!!! Yikes, oh dear...
At this point, I don't want to attribute any extrasensory abilities to Nasengourmet, but it was a bit creepy for me ;-) I was very relieved when this headline was followed by a kind, beautiful, and reassuring comment regarding "H" instead of the feared negative review.
Just a few days later, my bottle arrived, and to not unnecessarily stretch the suspense: I found the scent beautiful from the very first spray!
And now I feel the need to share my personal comparison of "H" with "BtB" with the interested honey bees among you:
"H" definitely starts off more robust and a bit spicier, while "BtB" comes across as fruitier, brighter, and a touch sweeter. Unlike some of my predecessors, I clearly perceive an oud note, but not in the base, rather right from the start. This may be because I actually don't like oud and probably react to even the smallest amounts. "H" is therefore darker and a bit dirtier, although the amount of oud is obviously so small that it doesn't bother me. "BtB" is still a bit more pleasant for me in this initial phase.
"BtB" is powdery from the beginning, and I believe that the powderiness comes from the frankincense, which is very harmoniously integrated and does not smell unpleasantly prominent to me.
The powderiness then slowly increases in "H" as well, and after about 20 minutes, the two scents smell almost identical to me. The wonderful honey sweetness in both is elegantly restrained by a robust powderiness.
After about half an hour, the caramel supports the sweetness of "H" and makes it feel more voluminous to me than "BtB." One could say that "H" really takes off, while "BtB" remains somewhat more reserved throughout the entire scent progression.
If one imagines the robust powderiness on one side and the sweetness on the other as the respective axes of a fragrance coordinate system, and one were to represent the progression of the two scents graphically, the two scent trajectories would form a flat X together.
While "H" starts off more robust and then increasingly develops more sweetness, "BtB," on the other hand, begins sweeter and then gradually becomes a bit more robust over time. Mind you, I am talking about fine nuances that do make a difference.
They can certainly be referred to as "fragrance twins," perhaps not identical, but very similar fraternal ones.
For those of you who have dealt with the "Lokhoum" scents from Keiko Mecheri, it may also be helpful to note that "H" seems to relate to "BtB" like the edP does to the Eau Poudrée by Keiko Mecheri, in my impression.
In the further course, not much changes for both, thank the fragrance heavens, as neither ever tips into the cloying, which has often spoiled my enjoyment with other honey scents.

The longevity is enormous for both, and in my opinion, both are well-suited for unisex wear, of course assuming a general preference for sweet and honey scents in particular.
The good price-performance ratio and the beautiful bottle and box have already been well described. An additional (psychological) appeal and a touch of exclusivity, I think, is also represented by the limitation of 100 bottles. Mine is, for example, number 80, which is noted by hand in gold lettering on the box.

Testing them in parallel was fun and created in me the image of a coordinated dance of ups and downs, just like the bees when they buzz around the honey blossoms.

Oops, I just noticed that Nasengourmet's comment is no longer visible…!? That's a shame and a bit creepy again… ;-))

Very helpful Review 16
So genius
Coming up with a fitting title was actually harder this time than usual. I am so blown away. I love Back to Black so much. But H -100 impresses me just a bit more. This is firstly due to its unbeatable longevity and then to the skillful combination of honey with freshness.
Yes, the comparison to Back to Black is appropriate here. H 100 is extremely similar to Kilian's masterpiece. But H 100 costs less and even smells a little better.

Why better?
Kilian's Back to Black leans more towards a waffle direction, reminiscent of Christmas baking. H 100, on the other hand, also smells like incredibly delicious waffles with honey but is less smoky, more fresh. One could say it's a fresh interpretation of honey. And it is so delicious.

This scent surrounds me all day, through my sweater, and one could... uh no, one would if they could lick themselves... OK, that sounded kind of psychopathic. I just want to
express how delicious it smells. I have to admit that H 100 has now become my number 1. Back to Black was always my number 2 after Herod, but H 100 is made for me. I love this scent. It puts me in such a good mood that I often pull my sweater over my nose. So not self-absorbed, but I just really like this scent so much.
Yes, yes, I could go on for hours praising Honey H 100, but that would just result in nonsense and flattery.

But this is how a perfume should be! Simply perfect. Oh, here comes the flattery again.
Anyone who likes Back to Black should definitely test this one BECAUSE in my opinion it’s just a bit better. Anyone who hates Back to Black should definitely stay away from this! Because the similarity is rarely experienced.

By the way, I have already written a review about H 100, but I had to delete it after 2 days when I realized I had mixed up the samples. This report here is definitely H 100 and not P 100 :-)

End of flattery....

Spray it on, but DO NOT lick it off!
Hello dear ones (yes yes, I have to write nice things about you too :D), welcome to a new fragrance description from me. Today, it’s all about the sweet-toothed… uh, I mean my text today will particularly please all the sweet lovers or at least make them curious, as it’s about a fragrance with a strong honey note. Namely H-100 Jubilée from Schlossparfumerie Wolff & Sohn Stuttgart, a fragrance manufacturer whose scent I hadn’t tried until now.

A nice perfumer sent me a sample, probably because this scent can quickly create cravings and therefore I should rather continue to gain weight in her place… how mean :D

In any case, this fragrance was developed in collaboration with Micallef to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the perfumery. A total of three fragrances were created, named C-100, H-100, and P-100. The C fragrance is intended for women, the H fragrance is unisex, and the P-100 is ultimately a men’s fragrance, although women, according to the perfumery's website, find it "too much of a shame" that the P-100 is only for men and therefore use the scent as well… just so we guys have one less exclusive fragrance available… did I already mention in this comment that you ladies are all beasts?? :D

Anyway, let’s see how the unisex scent, the H-100, smells!

The Scent:
The scent starts with a strong honey note that smells very authentic. Alongside, there are spicy scents that fit well with the fragrance, although the honey does not become as strongly spicy as, for example, in Thierry Mugler's Angel fragrances.
In the background, I can already smell a light vanilla, which is particularly recognizable due to its soft, powdery aura. Caramel is also another sweet note, which is not very intense but fits well with the overall scent progression.
Later, the scent remains as it was, as it hasn’t changed much. I still smell honey, a bit of vanilla, and light, spicy notes. I believe I can now also detect some cedarwood, but this woody note seems to be somewhat overshadowed by the strong honey note.
In the base, the scent is still as I have described it so far. It doesn’t change significantly, which is okay since a beautiful scent that remains consistent for a long time is also great. Therefore, we still have mainly the honey notes with a hint of spice in the nose, as well as some cedar and caramel sweetness. However, the vanilla is now stronger, making the scent even sweeter and, above all, softer and more powdery. Even in the very late base (after six to eight hours), the scent smells as described, but I believe that the honey and spicy notes might even smell a bit more intense then. Overall, a very nice scent that radiates beautifully and strongly over a very long period.

The Sillage and Longevity:
The sillage is strong and enduring, as one might expect from many fragrances with honey notes. You are enveloped in a large scent cloud, where others don’t have to be close to smell the fragrance on someone. I also find it good that it doesn’t fade quickly, so you should still be well perceived even after several hours. In terms of longevity, you can expect eight to ten hours, and actually even more.

The Bottle:
The bottle is square with gilded edges, looks solid, and somewhat resembles the bottles from Roja. On the front, you can see the name of the perfumery in seemingly raised, golden cursive letters. The cap is round and also gilded. All in all, a very beautiful and noble bottle.

Conclusion:
So, the scent has turned out quite well. And since it smells so honey-like, I’m pretty sure that it will especially please women because you all are such sweet-toothed individuals. But I must admit that I also really like honey; maybe I’m not necessarily crazy about it in fragrances (even though it smells good), but the taste of honey is just so great that it could totally compete equally with Nutella, which would be something that would surely drive women crazy :D

I wonder, however, why women don’t go for me when I wear such deliciously scented fragrances? Because it must surely be my fault, right? Aaaaargh *sigh*
So, especially now during the Corona times, when you have less contact with others (or should have), I won’t shave anymore and let myself go (it all makes no sense, aaaaargh :DD) and just look like the fat thunder god Thor from "Avengers - Endgame"! (you know I’m a comic fan; I haven’t mentioned anything from comics in a while, hmmm...) … I already have three centimeters of beard, he he he :D

Well, back to the scent! Yes, it mainly smells of honey, then of spices, and despite its strong projection, also of softly fragrant notes. Nevertheless, for me, it is definitely an autumn and winter scent, as its high, spicy sweetness would be quite overwhelming right now in warm weather, no matter how delicious it smells. In autumn or winter, however, you can really rock this scent, he he. Yes, it’s suitable for going out, maybe even for partying, and if you manage to dose it quite lightly, you could perhaps use it as a daily companion for cold days, as a comfort, for example, because you have to trudge to work in the rain and mud or because the cat comes in soaking wet and immediately sits down with muddy paws on the sofa or bed :D

In any case, the scent is quite recommendable; the only question is whether you can still get your hands on it since it was limited. But if you should see it, then go ahead, feel free to test it!
Well, and with that, I’ve come to the end and wish you all a lovely evening, until next time then :)

Delicious cloud of honey with hints of beeswax and a subtle spicy tobacco-like oud note which becomes more distinct to the base. Lovely.

Wow, what a powerhouse. Liqueur-like saffron + clove combine with honey + caramel. Oud adds edge. Heavenly chocolate base. Where's it from?

The dispute over the honey heaven, H-100 launches an offensive with Ambre N. in the top note, mimics Kilian successfully in the middle, and finishes with soft oud.
