In Dreams and Fairy Tales - Blueberry Sorce 2025 Extrait de Parfum

Opens exactly as a freeze dried berry mix. There's definitely blueberry pie in the background. Drinking a smoothie from Jamba Juice on a warm California morning. Something clean? Maybe it's cold? The freeze dried part of my earlier statement, I think. Blueberry syrupy. The dry down is really evocative of a blueberry tootsie pop. A candied blueberry smell with an undercurrent of vanilla.

Contrary to some reviews, this does not smell like a realistic blueberry or blueberry muffin. It is incredibly sweet and cloying, therefore I would not recommend for summer. It smells like a blueberry or blue raspberry syrup, with a marshmallow-like scent in the background, but the berry syrup is the main thing you smell. There is nothing yeasty or cakey about it, or even fresh and juicy as a realistic blueberry would smell. I enjoy smelling it, as it smells good, but I would not want to wear something like this, except maybe in very specific moods when I’m craving something sickly sweet.

The opening smells like sweet powdery blueberry candy. Kind of like Sweetarts. As it dries down you start to get more of the vanilla and meringue, and for a while it smells like a yummy blueberry muffin. The more it dries down though, the less I like it. After about an hour a lot of the blueberry is gone and it's mostly Chamomile and meringue. I like this one the best in the In Dreams and Fairytales line, but not enough to get a full bottle.

Can't say I've tried a bunch of blueberry perfumes, but I already know this one would be top of the list because I *LOVE* it so damn much. I love all the IDAFT scents (except Passionfruit) and find them all wearable in basically every circumstance - for work, lounging at home, date night, ladies night, bedtime... they're perfection.

Blast of super sweet blueberry in the opening (I feel like berry notes always smell a bit artificial since fresh blueberries don’t have a strong scent to me). A bit of the herbal chamomile note shines through as you wear this. Strong undercurrent of the OG base in the dry down, with the whipped sugar and vanilla notes, although the blueberry stays prominent throughout wearing this all day. Ugh, absolutely delicious in all the ways.

Longevity is fantastic, in line with most other Sorce scents. I can smell this on my skin for hourrrssss and on my clothing 12+ hours (even days later). Projects really well, I could smell remnants of my scent trail for a while wearing this around the house. Upgraded my 2ml sample to a 15ml travel spray before I could even finish the sample.
