"Balm for the soul"
The "Ege / Αιγαίο | Nishane" somehow captivated me as soon as I read the scent pyramid! I could really imagine the direction it would take, and luckily I wasn't wrong. No, I was even pleasantly surprised!

After I had already made a blind buy of "L'Homme Idéal Cool | Guerlain" and was so impressed by the mint-aniseed combination, nothing could go wrong here either, in my opinion!

I ordered the bottle brand new in foil and have not regretted it to this day!
Personally, I can't really understand the bad reviews and the comparison with cucumber and pickle water, but more on that later! It's all a matter of taste, but Ilias Ermenidis has definitely met my taste.

Opening:
The best thing about this fragrance is the opening! For me, it is as unique and incredibly pleasantly calming as the color green itself. That's why staff always wear green clothes in operating theatres, for example, because the color green has a demonstrably calming effect on the human psyche. So why not green fragrances too?

That's why it's all the more difficult for me to describe it. At the beginning, "Ege / Αιγαίο | Nishane" starts with a delicious and also very natural, and Nishane typical, anise-mint mixture. This complex and, in my opinion, very successful creation doesn't just smell like liquorice as we know it from the supermarket! No, as with "L'Homme Idéal Cool | Guerlain", it is an unmistakable and, in my opinion, unique composition.
This does not mean that the fragrances are very similar, but is only intended to point out the uniqueness of this classic mint and delicious aniseed combination.

Drydown:
Compared to "L'Homme Idéal Cool | Guerlain", "Ege / Αιγαίο | Nishane" is a much more complex and profound fragrance, with an incredible natural creaminess. For me, it absolutely fits the motto. I smell a warm sea breeze, green meadows and a never-ending balsam that drifts and drifts along the coast. Which brings us to the drydown!

Turquoise:
The color of the bottle is spot on. The fragrance is not green "Green Irish Tweed | Creed" and it is also not blue "Bleu de Chanel (Eau de Parfum) | Chanel". The "Ege / Αιγαίο | Nishane" is actually turquoise, and I could swear that I see a little bit of both classics reflected in this very "Ege / Αιγαίο | Nishane" a little but skillfully!

Conclusion:
In my opinion, "Ege / Αιγαίο | Nishane" conveys an incredibly clean and Mediterranean fragrance experience. It still has the necessary warmth and freshness of a wonderful summer day on the coast by the sea. This is exactly how I imagine the scent of the wind on the Aegean Sea or the Turkish Riviera. Even though I've never been there myself, I've just looked at pictures of it again and I recognize the idea behind it. Definitely a spring and summer fragrance. Unisex with a slight tendency towards a men's fragrance. Kind of puts me in a vacation mood! Indescribably different, light and carefree, just like the vacation season. Balm for the soul!

"Ege / Αιγαίο | Nishane" starts fresh and is irresistible in the opening! Rather linear in the drydown, but fragrantly balsamic. Initially also tangy sweet, which is probably a reference to the yuzu lemon. But also somehow spicy, which is probably due to the basil. I personally don't recognize the incense, but it certainly rounds off the entire work of art subtly, as I can well imagine.

Cucumber:
The cucumber vibes certainly come from the violet leaves, which simply smell different from violet flowers. Violet leaves convey green, watery and floral notes and nuances which, at first glance, are associated with the smell of cucumber. But on closer olfactory inspection, you quickly notice the subtle difference in my opinion.

For me as a "Freshie" and "L'Homme Idéal Cool | Guerlain" lover, the "Ege / Αιγαίο | Nishane" was an absolute must and apparently love at first sight!

For me, "Ege / Αιγαίο | Nishane" is a truly successful masterpiece that doesn't necessarily get the respect it deserves! Nevertheless, I recommend everyone to try it first, as the fragrance is different and not everyone will like it straight away. Or not everyone will like the scent! For me, the "Ege / Αιγαίο | Nishane" will remain in permanent use for the time being!

Good work, Nishane!
Good work, Ilias Ermenidis!

"Game Changer"
After rediscovering my love of fragrances after more than 20 years, I had the opportunity to test some good samples thanks to Parfumo. There were perfumes that I liked better and others that I didn't like so much. All the reviews I wrote were meant sincerely and I still stand behind them 100%. But at a certain point I had to admit to myself that there are just too many good fragrances out there, but I don't necessarily want to smell like most of them. The perfume addiction seems to have taken hold of me and never let go.

I also bought good and carefully selected bottles, but whenever I put them on, I didn't really feel comfortable with them. Subjectively, it just wasn't me!

One of my first samples was "The Muse | Zarkoperfume"!
And even though the fragrance is a very feminine scent,
i never really got it out of my head because I appreciated its clean simplicity.
On the other hand, it was a little too synthetic and present for me!
Too feminine!

In my search for a classic soap and fresh laundry fragrance, I asked "The Scenter" for advice, and in addition to the "Couleur Primaire / Exemplaire Unique | Les Eaux Primordiales" and the "Molecule 02 | Escentric Molecules", he also referred to the "Marseille | Comme des Garçons". Many thanks again for that. Top!

As soon as I saw the fragrance notes, I was hooked.
The "Marseille | Comme des Garçons" was indeed my first blind purchase!
And I don't regret it for a minute. On the contrary, I immediately ordered a second 50ml
Bottle as a backup. A fragrance that I couldn't have imagined better.

In my opinion, the "Marseille | Comme des Garçons" smells like a very high-quality yet simple curd soap. It's a fairly linear fragrance that doesn't deliver the classic woody notes and dynamics in the drydown like other fragrances. And that's exactly what I love about it!

The "Marseille | Comme des Garçons" was exactly the fragrance I was looking for right from the start. Everything and everyone can smell like this. Completely unobtrusive, and yet unique.
You can't beat its cleanliness and simplicity. Anyone can really wear it, anywhere!
It simply smells good and is also long-lasting without any pungent notes

I agree with the opinion of other perfumos.
The "Marseille | Comme des Garçons" is a lighter, finer and more sophisticated version of "The Muse | Zarkoperfume". Naturally soapy and less synthetic.

The "Marseille | Comme des Garçons" is my new great love alongside the "Join The Club - Torino21 | XerJoff" 1 and the "Genetic Bliss | 27 87 Perfumes"!
Conclusion! Less is often more!

"Relaxed apricot"
The opening of "Pacific Chill | Louis Vuitton" is really successful in my opinion!
The apricot scent is immediately and clearly recognizable, and initially perfectly paired with a really fresh and exceptionally authentic mint note.

The only problem with the whole thing is that the mint disappears at least as quickly as it arrived. After that, all I can really smell is a very pleasant, authentic but also very linear apricot. Unfortunately! Because this combination with the latent mint note blew me away in a positive sense.

On the one hand, I don't think LV fragrances are bad at all, and I think I understand the concept behind them. On the other hand, it's just not worth the money for me and the fragrances are also a bit too sweet in their DNA for me personally. Like "Imagination | Louis Vuitton", "Afternoon Swim | Louis Vuitton" and "Cactus Garden | Louis Vuitton", "Pacific Chill | Louis Vuitton" is also very fruity and somehow related to the species. The respective colors of the bottles correspond exactly to the contents. Each fragrance has its own note and flair. But they all reflect this "California lifestyle" without being too garish.

Summer, sun, hotel flair, light cuisine, fresh fruit, shakes, nature and biodiversity, excursions, sea breeze, sunscreen, light cheerful thoughts and definitely vacation time!

All fragrances are very "Californian" in my opinion! Just like the price, for anyone who has ever spent time there! Which also reminds me of when I used to buy my beloved "Gatorade" at Wal Mart somewhere in San Diego. The assortment had at least as beautiful colors and flavors as Louis' bottles! Really very timeless and very nice to look at. I would love to take a sip whenever I see them standing there. But please don't take it literally, okay! These bottles would also work well as decorations and, with the right lighting, bring color into the hut. It's just stupid that perfume should be stored in the dark.

Apart from the fact that the "Pacific Chill | Louis Vuitton" is more for the ladies in my opinion, I really don't think it's bad. It would undoubtedly be very pleasant if my partner wore this fragrance. I didn't find the longevity that bad either, if I look at the other opinions here on Parfumo. The fragrance somehow lingered in my nose throughout the afternoon. But not constantly and only discreetly in the background. It had something. Perhaps comparable to the behavior (not the fragrance itself) of "Molecule 01 | Escentric Molecules". I liked it and it also made me smile.

But as I said, a little too feminine for my taste. That doesn't mean that men can't wear the fragrance without hesitation! It's just that I personally don't like the scent of apricot. Even though it comes across really well in "Pacific Chill | Louis Vuitton". But at the end of the day, it just reminds me of a cheaper product that my mother used to wear in the 90s. The "Pacific Chill | Louis Vuitton" immediately reminded me of that time again.

If the mint lasted longer and was staged a little better, it would certainly be "halfway" worth the money. Then it would certainly be a strong competitor for the "Join The Club - Torino21 | XerJoff", which also shines with a great mint.

And please note, it's all a matter of taste!

"High-quality bath additive from the 80s"
Costa Azzurra (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford" reminds me of a very high-quality bath additive from the 80s. To my amateur nose, "Costa Azzurra (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford" smells of conifers and/or mountain pine, paired with a very fine, warm summery and elegant citrus note in the background. Back in the 80s, fragrances in care products and bubble baths were mainly green and fresh (menthol, mint, resin, conifers, mountain pine, resinous, etc.). Sophisticated, or it just reminds me of my own childhood! Either way, the fragrance is definitely high quality.

That doesn't necessarily have to be bad and, as always, is a matter of taste. I like the fragrance unexpectedly well. It smells fresh, resinous and very natural, which speaks for the house of Tom Ford!

Not a fragrance I was looking for, but one I could get used to! I am thrilled with my first encounter with a Tom Ford fragrance

"Fresh off the washing line"
Of all the many, many designer and niche fragrances that my mother has smelled on me, she actually liked the "H24 (Eau de Toilette) | Hermès" the best. Crazy! She couldn't stop sniffing it and is even thinking about ordering a bottle. And she doesn't even wear perfume herself! I am speechless!

She said: "It smells 1:1 like fresh laundry! Fresh from the washing line in spring"

I personally really like the scent too! I also think that "H24 (Eau de Toilette) | Hermès" is not a classic perfume fragrance, but as I said, a synthetic fresh laundry scent. Somehow ingenious!

Very subtle, very fresh, synthetic, neutral and pleasant!
You can wear it everywhere and it's not noticeable at all!
The price-performance ratio is unbeatable, but the durability is unfortunately miserable.
At least with my original miniature sample.
Otherwise top for anyone who likes it minimalist and fresh!
