Piña Colada with coconut skin cream
Dear fragrance friends & girlfriends,
when I first became aware of this fragrance I was first quite curious, but at the first test the anticipation was also very quickly evaporated.
Initially, I like it a little better, it plays lime and bergamot with the coconut in harmony. But in the drydown, the tide then turns very quickly.
The citrus notes quickly clear the place opposite the sweet.
What remains is a strong radiating sweet coconut. I just smell sugar cane here and especially that penetrating coconut.
I was right in flashback, in the bathroom of an old friend, she is Brazilian and there everything smelled of exactly this coconut scent. Everywhere quite a few skin creams and shower gels that reflect exactly this smell.
Good components have been used here, no question.
The sillage and durability are very good.
This fragrance but to market as unisex I think is nonsense, certainly only to double the potential buyer base.
A man who would like to smell so feminine the should do that with pleasure, but please not in my neighborhood. I get a headache in the long run from this fragrance.
If you want to have a whole train compartment to yourself I recommend this fragrance 4-5 times before boarding to apply.

this is my first fragrance of the brand Aqua di Parma and I must say that the fragrance has blown me away.
Imagine you run in your hiking vacation in Italy through the fields and meet there somewhere on Nicola Parisi. He initiates you into the cultivation of the citrus and bergamot trees. He is the farmer of these fields and he knows how it goes on here.
Your faithful companion "dog" is of course always at your side.
You hold the collected fruit in front of his nose, and he bites you from hunger properly in the hand.
He is blinded by the abundance of citrus components. Blinded by the color of the green-yellow fruits.
So it is with this fragrance, a dazzler.
I really like the fragrance, but he holds out a maximum of 2 hours, then he is only hot air, like Sandra if you have made the Lörres 3 times completely empty.
For the price you can also equal to Bergamote22 o.a. grab, that saves you the nerves. Zaster not really, because there cost 50ml also 150€.

it is probably the associated memories or the old scent experience that make this fragrance seem consistently positive, but I am of a very different opinion these days.
It used to be one of my favorite fragrances, but since Black Rock has completely castrated the pineapple out, I just do not like this fragrance.
I find it a great pity because earlier I was happy to pay the price, for the then in-house brand. Meanwhile, no more, because he is no longer what he used to be...
Often I read here from Dupes aka Emperor Extrait, Rassasi, Armaf or whatever.
This is despite everything not the same as it was back then, unfortunately.
On the one hand, I'm glad that I have experienced the good time of Aventus, on the other hand, I am nowadays just sad about what this whole reformulation story because again, from a then stable fragrance, has made.
What moved the whole thing to this is, among other things, the takeover of BlackRock, the sales price fad and what has now simply become of almost the entire perfume industry.
It is as so often, with many fragrances from the old days, that they are either completely removed from the range or so blatantly neutered that they are simply no longer what they once were.
Too bad about the old Aventus, he was once a 9, but now he is a 08/15 fragrance off the shelf.
The people, like me, who still have an old bottling at home can consider themselves lucky on the one hand, but on the other hand, the bottle will be empty at some point and then you no longer know so right what real alternatives you have at all instead.
The prices will, even if they were before already so taken off, soon crack the 350€ mark.

A warm hug on a weekend

I associate this fragrance with the good times when my grandma was not yet demented and I was allowed to choose and buy everything I wanted at retail. Be it Playmobil, Lego, Hasbro, Furbys, water balloons, a pop-up pool or anything else. It was the best time of my life.
My grandpa and grandma had a thread and screw company before the Chinese came and corrupted everything. This was around the 90s to 2000s.
I remember that old powder scent from your bag and those other wonderful scents from back in the day when I would visit on the weekends.
There was then always homemade apple pancakes and I always had to play something on the classical guitar, which I had learned from the guitar teacher during the week, and my grandma always wanted to accompany me on the accordion, although I actually only ever played electric guitar at home, had role models such as Jimmy Hendrix, Erik Clapton, Carlos Santana, Limp Bizkit, P.O.D. & Korn.
I was as a little boy in this playroom often disgusted, but she was so happy when she could accompany me on classic songs, that I would not and could not take that away from her. Nowadays I thank her, because this is exactly what distinguishes the discipline I later had to develop in the military.
My grandpa has unfortunately since passed away from Parkinson's disease.... It fills me with pride when I think of how you were to us. He was a great person in my life. Rest in peace and thank you for the good times and for the house you built for my parents and me.

Dear fragrance friends & girlfriends,
on this fragrance I became aware of a sample by the blue.
Maybe it was the iris or the cedar that drew me directly under its spell, I do not know.
Rarely have I had a tester that has grabbed me directly so...
With EDTs I am actually always very shy to buy, because the fragrances after about 2-3 years tilt and smell only of bad alcohol.
Since my choice is now broader than in younger years, I tried to avoid EDT for this reason and prefer EDPs & EDEs. But something has done to me this one.
You just notice the similar DNA as to Homme Intense, but much lighter. Not so heavy. Different. I can not describe it exactly.
Probably it is the iris that spreads its nuance there and the heavy powder that falls away.
Dior fragrances, are me among few others, the dearest.
Basti already mentioned that you can wear this fragrance at any time of year, and I completely agree, many women always address me on this lightness. He is not heavy and yet up to 8 hrs actively perceptible, then only on the clothes.
I often remember the connected study times when I wore the same sweater for 2 days, picked it up from the couch the next morning, put it on and the scent rose again in my nose.
It was always beautiful again. It does not come with the sillage and durability to the Homme Intense ran, but it is also not as weak as the Cologne.
Unfortunately, this dream has now been discontinued and I do not want to wait for the day when my last 150 ml run out. Never will there be a fragrance similar to this, I am sure.
