a flower with frozen roots
to this nose, L’Attesa is dominated by an orris accord that turns its wearer into a walking abstract art gallery.
the overall effect is cool, distant, cryptic, brimful of personality: the impact made by someone who only speaks in particularly graceful sign language. an enjoyable scent, but not one i find all that wearable. it’s like something you’d put on with a specific intent to dissociate. or maybe the mystique is just a tad too distracting? glad to have tried this, anyway.

unicorn in the clouds
to my nose this is a delicate cross between Blanche Bête and Moonlight In Heaven, radiating the airy, slightly eerie milkiness of both those scents, but with a citrus-adjacent zing in place of B.B.’s feathery tuberose.
i agree with the other reviewers that this scent offers really fantastic value for its price point.

starlight, star bright…
such smoothly blended notes here: all of the lavender & almond, plus soft vanilla, with the most soothing facets of each note fully expressed.
it’s aromatherapy, it’s an irrestistible caress, it’s both and more! the sillage and longevity hover at just the right point between moderate and substantial.
