Worth the hype or not...
Some fragrances sometimes get too much hype most of the time and this ain't an exception. Sure i can understand why people might like this and other fragrances out there...but this one is just too generic smelling.
Not a bad smell. The quality, sillage and longevity is good, but it doesn't smell anything special. My own personal problem with this was that it smelled like womens shower gel... Once again, not a bad smell...but when you personally try to search info for a new mens fragrance for yourself...then this actually can get pretty problematic, especially if you're not interested smelling like your mom, aunt or your sister.
Tho...is it a good quality product? Yes. I would be lying if i said no. But is it safe for everybody? No, no it isn't. And that's what im mad about fragrances in general: everytime there's info out there, most people will make sure that the fragrance gets every hype possible and no critisism gets shown. Or in other cases: 50% hype and 50% hate, and no one who tries to blind buy can't actually be sure whether it's a good product or not. Everything has to always be so damn polarized that every information starts to feel like either overhype, or just plain negative feedback without explanations why it is.
Still...if your taste isn't that conservative and you actually like fresh fragrances without caring much is it a feminine or masculine, im sure you will like this. For those others like me: If you're searching safe men's fragrance, this ain't possibly going to be it.
Odd and weird smelling...
If the original cologne that the corium is inspired by genuinely smells like this, then no wonder it got discontinued... I thought this was gonna be some, "rich warm leathery vintage gentleman" kind of scent, but this is far away from that.
It smells odd in the air and skin: an elderly with a mix of Hubba Bubba bubble gum... I don't even know if that's just me or if this genuinely has that kind of smell in general but at least my bottle smells just like that and I'm very disappointed. Sure it has some leather in it but some sweetness in it makes it smell like that Hubba Bubba.
Though it's not literally like a bad smell... Just weird and questioning like "why would anyone want to smell like this" and who's it trying to impress or please?
Too sweet to be some "vintage" category for older people, and too old smelling for young people. This is a very weird option to pick and it only seems to serve a purpose for a "collection pick".
Not my cup of tea and i would certainly warn those who want to blind buy this. It's not safe and there are much better options out there than this.

Overhyped rather than actually someway special...
It's not a bad smell, but it certainly isn't anything different or special either. For me this shares more the same dna with 9pm rather than actual dior homme. And the fact that people who hype this aren't even themselves sure which version of homme this actually smells like tells a lot i think.
The whole scent is linear, has hella a lot synthetic notes in it and overall it smells on skin and in air mostly like a 9pm with a small twist and less sweet...
You can buy this if you want, but there are much more better options out there than this. And I'd specially recommend paying attention more to the info about colognes like these, cuz the hype with these arab budgets is usually very coordinated than you would think. Don't be surprised if your negative comment gets multiple people shortly after disagreeing without much explanation why.
In short: Nothing competitively special nor different. There's better options out there. You can buy it if you want, but don't expect much, based on what most people hype about.
