Who’s Afraid of the Black Wolf?
After having Noir Sport for 2 years, I wanted to try the original due to many comments - it wouldn’t let me rest and the offer on an online platform for a mere € 20 for 100ml was of course an absolute steal!
When freshly applied, you might have your doubts about whether it will attract more criticism than affection!
In my opinion, he is the tougher guy who quickly reveals a soft core - yet he lacks a convincing sillage. The sporty brother does that better!
Given the price-performance ratio, you can confidently immerse yourself in a decent cloud of fragrance!
The scent itself reminds of and embodies nature, damp coniferous forests, cold stone caves, and thus grounded power - which I absolutely appreciate.
Truly the black wolf, who steps forward at arm's length and will never bite…
The fragrance is more suitable when you want to be alone or seek peace, or wish to maintain distance from those around you!
From the female world, unfortunately, I have received little positive feedback; even my wife says that I can only wear it if I absolutely want to flaunt my masculinity and play the ego game…;-)

I have now ordered my 5th bottle from a very affordable online retailer!
I have had the fragrance since it was produced. Nevertheless, I must say that I have received more compliments with this scent than with any other in recent times.
This is probably because it has few wearers and thus seems almost unique at the moment or stands out extremely from the crowd!
I mainly wear it in the office / at the company premises - it seems to be well received by everyone!
One should not make a decision based on the first scent clouds after application - it is indeed very strongly peppery / spicy at that point!
Afterwards, it develops a really great drydown on the skin with a noticeable and interesting sweetness, and that is exactly what people like!
It may not have MEGA sillage like Dior Sauvage, but it doesn't need that!
It achieves a good 1-1.5 arm lengths and that even after hours.
Due to its price, you can easily indulge in a few spritzes.
Especially now in summer when it is very warm, it comes across well and lasts really long.

Gin with Rose Thorns on Ice
.....that's how one could vividly imagine the scent. Aside from the great bottle and its packaging, the content also promises an incredible performance.
Upon application, it is slightly peppery, almost scratchy - hence the title - but after a few minutes, a really cool scent development can be observed.
The fragrance offers partly floral, woody, warm but also chilled sequences (just like gin on ice) - truly amazing. The longer the scent is on the skin, the more it becomes one with the wearer - at a good arm's length, it's almost intoxicating.
In my opinion, it is also very suitable for the office; the ladies mentioned that this perfume can be very dangerous for the wearer ;-)
But it polarizes a lot; it keeps its distance or draws you in.
It absolutely emphasizes masculine traits like strength, sovereignty, groundedness, alpha male, independence, but also the pleasant aspects like familiarity, warmth, closeness.
In my opinion, it suits guys who are dressed daily in either a suit, chinos and a shirt, or in British tweed...that's why I have it...;-)
But even in the evening or at the club, it does not let the wearer down; sillage and longevity are top-notch.

Received the bottle as a gift. At first, I was a bit thoughtful! Gisada? What on earth is that?
After I sprayed some on my wrist, it was clear that this is no ordinary perfume. In terms of complexity, it's more of a niche scent than a designer bottle.
Once the fragrance settles after application, the true quality from Ricola-land presents itself!
Starting with absolute fruitiness (strong apricot) moving to charming wood, which ends in an amber and suede finale, it's an absolute all-rounder.
It works very well in the office as well as in the evening during dinner and in intimate moments.
The scent is almost captivating, longevity is 4-5 hours, sillage is good - but could be better.
However, overall, it's not a misstep - it plays all the notes with brilliance.
The price for 100ml at €120 is rather steep....
