Givenchy gentleman with a twist
Do you really need it?
For the price of €40+ you get designer quality here.
A fragrance that is initially strongly reminiscent of Gentleman Givenchy Eau de Parfum But then becomes independent.
The opening is fruitier than that of Givenchy.
I perceive mandarin well, plus some lavender.
Cinnamon is completely lost on me.
After a short moment, you can already perceive a great powdery iris that you know from Gentleman Givenchy Eau de Parfum.
There is also plenty of benzoin and patchouli, but the mandarin disappears after the opening.
If the iris had been a little more "lipsticky", one could have assumed it was an alternative to Dior Homme Intense (2011).
Unfortunately, this is not the case here.
Nevertheless, I am sure that iris fans will like the fragrance, because it is the most present note in the DD.
Towards the end, the tonka bean and vanilla make it a little sweeter, but also irrelevant.
At this point at the latest, it is an independent fragrance that I neither find bad nor celebrate.
It's just nothing new and nothing that will knock your socks off.
A fragrance that does nothing wrong, but doesn't make you stand out from the crowd either.
The performance is quite similar to that of Her Confession .
Get here 7h durability on my skin.
The radiance is also not the best, I perceive the fragrance minimally stronger than the white Confession.
But it's still not a screamer that stands out.
Unisex or rather masculine? I find it rather masculine, but I can imagine that it will still appeal to the ladies.
