The first time I smelled this fragrance I knew how good it was going to be.

the level of purity I’ve never smelled in Lattafa fragrance before and I own 5 others from Lattafa but non of them gave me the urge to go write a review about it at 6AM.

The scent is sweet-fruity-powdery like a little bit of orange and flowers with vanilla ice cream. I had people from different races at work tell me I smell good and they liked it (one of them asked me to gift it to them :) the dry down is very distinctive from the opening kinda reminds me of Prada luna rossa black but with the incense.

Something to know you could wear this in an office or a closed ventilated area it’s not harsh or spicy, I would just avoid it for hot weather days maybe you can rock it in a warm nighttime.

Overall (and there’s no such thing called a TEN imo)

1. Scent profile 9/10 (it’s truly an art piece, keep in mind it’s not a dupe)

2. Opening 9/10 (sweet fresh delicious creamy orange)

3. Projection 8/10 (more than that and it would’ve been a winter fragrance)

4. Sillage 8.5/10 (the incense in the base makes it your shadow)

5. Dry down 9/10 (a mature classic expensive type of smell)

6. Bottle 9.5/10 (what can I say a timeless Greek sculpture )

7. Atmozier 7/10 (good pump not to much or to little, no leaking on bottle and takes a beating)

8. Box presentation 8/10 (a hefty magnetic closure lid with a letter inside)

9. Price 9/10 (bought it for around $35 as my priciest Lattafa and DEFINITELY worth it)

10. Occasions 8/10 (you pretty much can consider it to be mass-appealing and unoffensive)

Inoffensive crowdpleaser

I bought this along with Her Confession, admittedly, for the beautiful bottles. Neither scent is particularly groundbreaking to my nose, but they're both inoffensive crowdpleasers. This is a lightly spicy, lightly woody, lightly creamy unisex scent on me, though on others it leans more spicy, less creamy, and more masculine. Depends on your skin. I think this would be a safe bet for anyone of a more androgynous or masculine persuasion who wants to smell nice to a wide range of people. Something to wear to the office or a first date, perhaps.

Heavier version of vanilla sweetness

A slightly heavier version of vanilla sweetness, yet still easy to wear. Initially, it has a strong sillage that quickly settles, but it has a way of reminding you of its presence, leaving behind a subtle aura that makes you wonder, “What’s that lovely scent?” It lingers softly in the air, offering a warm, comforting trace that feels inviting without ever becoming overwhelming.

Much more unisex than expected

Some time ago, I received fragrance samples, including a decant of "His Confession." At first, I paid no attention to the scent because I thought it was too masculine for me. Eventually, I came across the decant again and decided to test it.
I was pleasantly surprised because it was completely different from what I expected.

"His Confession | Lattafa / لطافة" starts off spicy, fresh, and fruity.
Immediately, I perceive a pleasantly fresh, slightly sweet, and balsamic lavender.
The mandarin is also immediately present and harmonizes well with its fruity sweetness and the lavender.

After a short while, the iris unfolds with its warm, floral, and slightly earthy note, giving the fragrance a certain powderiness.
It adds a subtle nuance that reminds me of makeup.

In the drydown, the mandarin is no longer perceivable; instead, benzoin and frankincense come to the forefront. Benzoin adds a warm-sweet and vanillic nuance to the fragrance, while the frankincense contributes a pleasant spiciness.

For me, lavender and iris are prominent and dominate the scent.

I must admit that I usually struggle with iris fragrances, as I do not like their powdery note and therefore tend to avoid scents with iris in the fragrance pyramid.
However, "His Confession | Lattafa / لطافة" surprised me. I really like it here because it has a delicate creamy touch, is perfectly integrated, and harmonizes wonderfully with the lavender.

The longevity is decent.
I perceive the scent for about 6 hours before it becomes quieter and softer.
The sillage, however, is rather moderate.

Due to its powdery-sweet character, I do not perceive "His Confession" as purely masculine, but rather as a unisex fragrance that also suits women very well.

After testing the fragrance, I liked it so much that a bottle was allowed to join my collection.
Although it is labeled as a masculine scent, I can also recommend it to women to simply give it a try.

Givenchy Gentleman with a Twist

Is it really necessary?
For the price of 40+ €, you get designer quality here.
A scent that is initially strongly reminiscent of Gentleman Givenchy Eau de Parfum.
But then becomes quite independent.

The opening is fruitier than that of the Givenchy.
I can clearly perceive mandarin, along with a bit of lavender.
Cinnamon completely gets lost on me.

After a short moment, you can already notice a wonderful powdery iris that you know from Gentleman Givenchy Eau de Parfum.
Along with a good amount of benzoin and patchouli, while the mandarin disappears after the opening.
If the iris were a bit more "lipsticky", one could have considered it an alternative to Dior Homme Intense (2011).
Unfortunately, that's not the case here.
Nevertheless, I am sure that iris fans will find pleasure in this scent, as it is the most prominent note in the dry down.

Towards the end, it becomes a bit sweeter due to the tonka bean and vanilla, but also somewhat trivial.
By that point, it is an independent fragrance that I neither find bad nor celebrate.
It's just nothing new and nothing that blows you away.
A scent that does nothing wrong, but also doesn’t stand out from the crowd.

The performance is quite similar to "Her Confession | Lattafa / لطافة".
I get about 7 hours of longevity on my skin.
The projection is also not the best; I perceive this scent as slightly stronger than the white Confession.
But still, it’s not a screamer that stands out.

Unisex or rather masculine?
I find it more masculine, but I can imagine that it will still appeal to women.
