I was very excited to see how the Amouage brand performed and this one was at the top of my test list because of the fragrance notes. A short time later, I was holding the bottle in my hands.

The opening is very berry and beautifully spicy. Underneath, there are countless fragrance notes that form a beautiful fragrance experience. These become more and more apparent in the drydown. Creamy, balsamic paired with light woody notes. Beautiful but unfortunately also very expensive. Funnily enough, I immediately had a strong association with another fragrance. This one reminds me of the Classic Red. Although the Jaguar does not have the same depth and quality, there are still clear parallels for me. So if you want an affordable alternative, you can take a sniff here.

The longevity is rather average for me. The sillage is quite good in the first 2 hours and then decreases in line with the durability.

Conclusion: really beautiful fragrance but definitely a luxury item. If you still love the DNA and are willing to compromise on quality, you can take a look at Classic Red

Take an Ombre Nomade and "Erba Pura | XerJoff" and imagine the two of them having a child. That's roughly how I would imagine the result.

At the beginning, a strong fruity oud cloud hits you. Whether the fruitiness is now clearly defined as passion fruit is impossible to say exactly. However, it can already be categorized as slightly bitter fruity. In the drydown, it then becomes increasingly smoky, while the fruit is somewhat more subtle. However, I perceive both notes consistently over the course. i deduct 2 points because the fruit already has a synthetic quality and therefore has to be slightly discounted. A solid 8 is still excellent for the price in my view.

Unfortunately, I can't compare it to Oud Maracujá due to the lack of a sample. Others will have to do that for me. I'm judging purely on the scent itself without any bias.

Shelf life is a mobster. Still strongly perceptible even 24 hours later. Sillage is strong at the beginning and then decreases over 8 hours until it is and remains only perceptible close to the body.

Conclusion: An absolutely solid fragrance at a more than fair price. If you like it very smoky/oud, it is an absolute buy recommendation.

The title says it all. The Scent range has become a staple at Boss in recent years, alongside Bottled. For me, the range stands for Mainka, but what does Maninka smell like? If I had to describe it, a tart sweetness rises to my nose. It's like dipping a persimmon fruit in dark chocolate. Don't ask me how I came up with this association. It is what it is.
I wouldn't smell the ginger now, but I would smell the vetiver all the more. It's not a fragrance that screams, but it surrounds you pleasantly and is suitable for any occasion. Nice to have for anyone looking for an all-rounder. Would see it from fall to spring.

The longevity is ok with just under 6-7 and good average. I rate the longevity of my fragrances as follows: 1hour = 1 lasting power.

Conclusion: A beautiful fragrance for everyday life that enriches the fragrance world and suits every occasion.

When I was in Holland recently, we strolled through a flower market. I feel transported back to how beautiful it smelled on every corner in midsummer. The fragrance is very floral with a hint of synthetics that doesn't bother me at all. There are also light citrusy notes that give the whole thing a zing. Really nice for the price and definitely unisex wearable.

The only drawback was that when we left the market, we left the beautiful scents behind us and were back in city traffic. As quickly as they had arrived, they disappeared again. The same goes for this scent.

I rate the longevity of my fragrances as follows: 1h = 1.durability.

Conclusion: Beautiful floral and for the price a recommendation. A "must have" for every collection.
