I would also like to say a few words about the Nouveau Monde, which actually got a bit lost in the hype surrounding the Ombre Nomade, such as the "Alexandria Orientale | XerJoff" or the Jump Up and Kiss Me Hedonistic with regard to "Alexandria II (Parfum) | XerJoff" and XXI: Art Deco - Blonde Amber

There are plenty of good leather fragrances, one that has attracted a lot of attention is probably the "London | Widian / AJ Arabia", which is also an absolute masterpiece, no question about it.

With Nouveau Monde it sometimes seems to me that it has been a bit forgotten, although it is actually a wonderful leather fragrance, with a slightly sweet creamy cocoa note, a fruity drop of blackcurrant and a hint of oriental background
Not too tart, not too sweet, but the golden mean between needs time and suitable for the masses.
As mentioned above, the Louis Vuitton boutique for on the go, well balanced and clearly underrated.

I actually wanted to leave it at a statement about the Afternoon Swim, but despite my divided opinion I am convinced by it.

An absolute dream for the summer.
A fresh/spicy combination of fresh mandarins and oranges on a slightly tart and woody ginger base.

Despite the fact that I am convinced of it and bought it afterwards, I still have to criticize it a little with a heavy heart.
The durability is unfortunately not so outstanding, which everyone has probably noticed by now, as well as the price of 280€.

Ultimately, however, I would like to explain a little more about my reason for buying it.
I can understand the price, it has to be worth it.
Fun fact, you can have it refilled a little cheaper and the bottle is blue.
As I mentioned in my statement, I turned a blind eye to the durability, arguing that it's just a summer fragrance and we don't usually have much summer in Germany anyway.

Where do I start... at first I left it at a statement, but shortly afterwards I decided to write a review out of conviction.
I'll leave the price of the fragrance out of it for now, everyone should decide for themselves

It starts off relatively animalic, spicy, oriental, perhaps challenging/overwhelming for some, but this is just the beginning of a remarkable journey of change.
Once it has settled, there is a lot going on, very fine, warm & pleasant fragrance, the animalic takes a back seat & is surrounded by soft woody accents.

One of the most multi-faceted & strongest developing fragrances I have ever had under my nose.
For me one of the best, if not the best of the series.
I can only recommend it to any oriental fan who can cope with a little animalism.

I have tested many leather-like fragrances, from Nabeel to Tom Ford or the Nouveau Monde, which are all good, no question, but none hit the spot like the "London | Widian / AJ Arabia" right from the start
It is simply incredibly well balanced & brilliantly rounded off with the raspberry note.
The durability, sillage and the bottle are the icing on the cake.
You have my recommendation, a masterpiece.

Due to "Alexandria II (Parfum) | XerJoff" & possibly "Alexandria III | XerJoff", the "Alexandria Orientale | XerJoff" has gone a little under, nevertheless it is now one of the best of the family for me.
A little animalic at the beginning, which fades into the background after a while, otherwise the typical Alexandria DNA.
Unfortunately, I didn't like it at all at first impression & I opted for "Alexandria II (Parfum) | XerJoff" as well as "Alexandria III | XerJoff", today "Alexandria Orientale | XerJoff" is the undisputed number 1 for me.
Durability, sillage & bottle, absolutely top.
I think the price is okay.
