Egg-laying pillow
A tough headline for this fine fragrance but it is indeed a little all-round wonder for me.

A few weeks ago it finally happened and I was able to get back into a real perfumery. I'm a difficult customer, especially with summer fragrances.

"I'd like a summer scent, office-appropriate, no Aquate" was the instruction to the saleswoman. Patiently you tried out some with me and I enjoyed it, me times again durchzuschüffeln. Oh yes, durable should be the fragrance please also still...

I love oriental scents and gourmands but that is usually difficult in the summer. The Aquaten I often like at first, but then always end up in the gym bag and wither there. I just can not stand them all day, not even Mr. Jo Melon Sea Salt and so on.

So we had landed at banana / vanilla and more tropical fragrances and an aquatic touched she has then still foisted on me. On my skin were finally allowed to take place "Aqua Allegoria Nettare di Sole | Guerlain" as honey fragrance advertised, "Eau Tropicale | Sisley" and "Mint & Tonic | Atkinsons". A long back and forth began and I went outside to smell the three scents at my leisure.

Unanimously, my husband and I decided on the Nettare the Sol. At first I was very skeptical because of the durability...

The fragrance:
Mainly I take honey was. So the fragrance starts slightly sweet. The floral combination (magnolia plays the main role here for me) adds something elegant and feminine and the aquatic notes make it more transparent and light. He is round, soft, warm and minimally fresh and floral - so an egg-laying Wollmilchsau.

The whole thing happened on vacation. I still had a few remaining days on site and could beautifully test out the fragrance. Whenever I sprayed him diligently in the holiday apartment, my husband came and asked what is that, that smells good. You have to say, my husband doesn't have a sensitive nose and I'm always amazed that he perceives this scent so. So the sillage is probably good.

Our drive back lasted 6 hours in the car and I really noticed the scent on me the whole time, of course it then gets a bit skin deep with time but it's there. For this fragrance series, I am very satisfied with a shelf life of 5-6 hours.

I can wear it during the day in the office, in the spare time and also still in the evening, refreshed, to go out to dinner or meet friends.

For me, a fine summer fragrance 2021. By the way, I just layered it with the poor "Wood Sage & Sea Salt (Cologne) | Jo Malone", so that Mr. Malone does not have to in the gym bag. Goes also, then the fragrance is still a little fresher, who the honey is possibly too much.

Summer greetings

The Fashion File
So this is my first conscious chypre, or at least chypre-like scent. Of alone I would not have approached him. Aldehydes, patchouli and sage make me already from reading headache.

But since I got him lovingly to the heart, I also wanted to give him a chance.

He starts green and herbaceous and yes the aldehydes are noticeable there but at least not as strong and unpleasant as first assumed.

I don't really get it all apart at all. It is an interwoven fragrance reminiscent of old times. Slowly the scent settles into something suede-like and powdery-sweet at the same time. Reminds something of make up.
Well no time to play and quickly pulled the next file. In this case, it is about a self-proclaimed designer. Often you have to put yourself in other worlds, professions and circumstances. I read the business plan, which is unfortunately kept very short but was illustrated with many pictures of the collections.
As if through a veil I perceive excited murmuring, a certain bustle arises, the models slip out of the dresses to slide right back into the next. A small seamstress flits from one to another making final alterations and correcting the fit of the suede belts. The makeup artist powders off, reapplies lipstick and tweaks hairstyles. Hairspray, powder and make up fixer are in the air.
The emcee's voice lifts, the next song plays, and the girls are sent down the runway.
Quietly, a figure emerges from the background, smiling and looking proudly at the collection, the audience and your models.

To me, it smells very classic. Actually, I have no idea about classics, most of them I don't like, as I associate them with old ladies tippling (well strutting) across the Ku-Damm with your fiffi on your arm. It will probably never become my genre but this one is still quite pleasant. The longevity is good, the sillage perceptible, pleasant and not too intrusive. Towards the end, it falls apart a bit.

Ok, enough daydreaming, now refocus and get on with the numbers part. Oh no, no fragrance will help...

Classic greetings

Floral top notes
The is not even as bad as the first sniff on the spray head or even the name can be expected. Nevertheless, he lives up to his name and starts with a very floral top note of jasmine and rose. The lemon makes it at least a little fluffier.

Then comes an annoying and throbbing heart. There I had already almost given up. No time to wash off so quickly continue to work and roll down the sweater. That was quite good, because he is still developing.

In the base, it becomes very pleasant. Green notes move in and now and then even the suede shows. The jasmine is still very finely there and the roses are withdrawn. Through the amber he comes a nice warm skin note to it.

The fragrance is overall not mine but who wears such fragrances, should have joy in this one. Who has struggled through the heart (maybe ne half hour) is rewarded with a round fragrance fabric. The durability is good and the sillage is moderate.

Sorry for the Statezenion. Was too long for one and the other maybe a little too short.

Flowery greetings

The beautiful Helena or Greek yogurt with honey.
A woman, beautiful as Helena once was, steps from the sanctuary of Yria. With her floats a waft of light smoke from the sacred offerings to the ancestors and gods in the temple. She blinks briefly, then ascends the hill, near the portara. Standing there, she stretches her beautiful face towards the sea, letting the sun kiss it. A gentle breeze makes her white chiton with its golden belt sway. The balsamic honey smell of your skin mixes with the breeze from the nearby "Lemonodasos", the lemon grove.

Something like that comes to mind when I put this scent on. For all those who this image is too blond, also like to think of the beautiful Cleopatra, which emerges from your milk honey bath. This is also quite appropriate, especially in the Drydown.

The makers have certainly rather thought of the Sicilian Naxos. Also there are famous blooming gardens on the peninsula Schiso, which could have influenced the fragrance. But the thoughts are free.

In the beginning, just very briefly, the tobacco smokes slightly. Then everything loses itself in a wonderful honey scent, bedded on a creamy tonka bean. Something edge gets the fragrance by lavender and jasmine, these give a noble touch. So that the honey is not too thick and tough, it is mixed with some lemon. This makes it more transparent and lighter.

Well balanced - not too sweet or too floral, minimally creamy.

The scent cheers me up, it's uplifting and friendly. I can see myself wearing this scent in a yellow dress at a wedding as a guest. Or even on vacation, I can picture him at his best. At this moment we are both waiting together for spring. In the garden the first buds, crocuses and tulips can already be seen but unfortunately it is still snowing from time to time. My mood is slowly sinking towards zero. I spray Naxos and immediately the sun rises, full of confidence I look out the window towards spring.

Finally lunch break, I go to the refrigerator and reach for the Greek yogurt with honey. After everything is mixed together and has a silky creamy consistency, I enjoy the fresh yogurt and think -mmmmhhh that tastes like Naxos smells. Very tasty.

On my skin, it turns out very smooth and soft. I hope it's not just because of a particular batch or something. The longevity and sillage are good and pleasant. Not too much and room-filling (have only taken 2-3 sprays) but one is pleasantly perceived at arm's length.

The bottle is beautiful and fitting, the honey-colored liquid penetrates through the frosted glass and captures the theme so also visually good.

Wish candidate.

Honey sweet greetings

Cannabis?
Unbedarft I have ordered a fragrance set from the company Birkholz. At least one fragrance from the Black Collection should be there and I decided for the Mystic Haze.

The claim to the Black Collection: "The secrets of perfume art hidden in a distant world." That has a nice ring to it.

Regarding Mystic Haze, it goes on to proclaim: "The journey begins in the Valley of the Kings. in the temple complexes of the long forgotten priests. The magic of the North African continent reveals the noblest ingredients of the perfume art. A provocative cannabis accord meets spicy cardamom and crowns the oriental composition with orange and vanilla. Mystical boat ride along the Nile."
Träumchen!

All Birkholz fragrances are indicated as unisex, which makes it difficult for me, since I didn't know the brand at all, to classify it. Based on the ingredients though, I thought this one might be interesting and praline, vanilla and orange I like. I like gourmand and a bit oriental goes also.

When he came, well. I would see the fragrance (of course, anyone can wear the) rather on a man. However, I do not know if I really want to smell the permanently on someone. But try you should yes everything.

The opening started musty, earthy, medicinal. I see myself somewhere in the barren Hindu Kush in a small hut on the sandy floor, watching someone roll resinous stuff with their dirty, caked hands. That's where the dope smell comes from. Something with Afghan or something.
(Think times now not wrong of me. 11 years in Berlin Neukölln leave your mark. In the neighborhood was a nice young man who was so fond of all things in the weed area. From growing it myself to consuming it. - He always gave me good tips and fertilizer for my indoor plants, we had a nice chat. I know a few things in theory and have smelled one or the other through his apartment door - I'm too chicken for that shit and don't have a green thumb either;-)). That was twenty years ago by now, too. Also, I used to binge-watch the series "Weeds" on Netflix but that's about it, honestly.

After the scent has settled a bit, the sweet dope note is still there. Lately I've had a few scents with supposed cannabis or hemp accords under my nose. None smelled like this one. The others went more in the green direction, so were more fresh plant oriented. However, there are some opinions on this scent that compare it to Black Afgano. I am not familiar with this one now and can neither confirm nor deny that.

I perceive almost all the notes as indicated, except for the praline. I can't really smell the sandalwood and cedar apart. Maybe I'm imagining a slight leather note at times. Something is bothering me. I think I don't like the musk of Birkholz, and I'm not warming up to this brand in general, unfortunately - but I'll tell you about that another time (at Lady Cannabis).

Honestly, I do not know if you want to spend over 400, - € for such a fragrance. I do not, I find him too special. Maybe cool in a certain environment, certain people, bar, concert, festival - no idea. Goes a little bit in the direction of Nerotic and I definitely like it better - it's all a matter of taste. Surely there are also for Mystic Haze real lovers or lovers...

Interestingly, Birkholz says they like to use between 18% - 25% oil content in your fragrances. On all my samples (no matter which of the three lines) it says Eau de Parfum and the longevity leaves a lot to be desired. No Intense or Absolue! Now this one lasts better than the other Birchwood samples which after about three hours, to me, were no longer noticeable. On a paper strip, the Mystic Haze was no longer smellable the next day. On the skin, it gets lost on me after about 5 -6 hours. There I would be again with the price, for that I expect, with such a smell, then also a beast. Overall, it went through a slight evolution on the skin (about 1 hour), the base came quickly and stayed for now too (about 3 hours) until the real drydown came. At least the drydown is nice. From there it also becomes very wearable, a small consolation.

For me, more Mystik Haase than Mystic Haze.

Does anyone have any chocolate? Would I have now Bock on it,
