Perfect name for such a bouquet
Flowerhead blends together beautifully as it settles on your skin - authentic rather than synthetic, a beautiful bouquet of white florals, fresh greens and sweet complementary berries & fruit. If you dig white florals, do yourself a favor and check this one out. If you find white florals offputting - well, go on... get outta here! =P

Foghorn in a Bottle
This fragrance should come with a warning label that it could be obnoxious if heavily sprayed. It really packs a punch. I could not imagine owning a bottle of this as one spray is all that is needed to perfume yourself and whatever building you are in. It is a huge, very dewy white floral, primarily tuberose and jasmine which appears intensely right out the gate. Has lots of green notes and an aquatic, cold aspect to it too, so descriptions I've read elsewhere of a florist refrigerator are pretty apt. There is iso and ambroxan mixed with the slightly animalic base of suede and ambergris. Fortunately, not enough synthetics to totally ruin the scent, but it shouldn't be here in the first place, especially at the prices being asked for a bottle. While this starts out with enormous projection, it does seem to lighten up as it goes along. I am using "seem to" as opposed to "does" as I am not sure if it is actually lightening up, or if my body's defenses are making me nose blind so I don't incapacitate myself. I'll have to test this around people and see.

Overall, while I do think it is pretty, I seriously have no idea where I could ever wear this scent as it is just too overwhelmingly strong. I also do not understand the unisex designation as this is extremely feminine. More than likely Byredo is just trying to increase sales labeling it that way. But of course, one can wear whatever one likes.

incandescent, kaleidoscopic, hallucinatory jasmine-tuberose-lemon explosion
Flowerhead from Byredo is what a rainbow smells like, or rather the dizzying polychromatic shimmer from the faceted crystalline prism that hangs in front of your window when it bends the light of a morning sunbeam. It’s an incandescent, kaleidoscopic, hallucinatory jasmine-tuberose-lemon explosion that is not particularly complex and is certainly not subtle. It’s a heady, obnoxious white floral fizzing citrus, and, perversely...I think I adore it.

Bubblegum tuberose and ambergris maxed out
Flowerhead starts with an extreme blast of flowers (jasmine, tuberose) and cranberries. After that, I mostly get heavy bubblegum tuberose heavy white florals and musk for a while, with a very impressive sillage.

About an hour in, the tuberose is joined and slowly becomes overpowered by a strong ambergris smell (a sweet , earthy, and marine musk). It also reminds me a bit of rice powder.

While interesting, I find this one quite cloying - first by the sickly sweet tuberose and then by the very strong musk. It stays a long while.

Comparison to some other tuberose perfumes I prefer:
- Dyptique Do son: less bubblegum, less sweet, more green, less musk, lighter, less longevity
- Frederic Malle Carnal flower: much more green, much better blending, far less bubblegum, even better longevity and projection
- L'Artisan Parfumeur La chasse aux papillons: also a lot of bubblegum tuberose/jasmine, but much lighter (less musky), less longevity
- Dior pure poison: more orange blossom, more flower-centric, less powdery, similar projection and longevity

Flowery chewing gum
It's almost identical to acacia-scented mint chewing gum but better. Tuberose dominates the whole scent, but it's not offensive. Flower Head is not as flowery and heady as the name suggests, so even I, who is not fond of floral fragrance, could enjoy it. As someone mentioned before, it has outdoor wedding vibes, too, due to its vibrant and realistic white flower, beautifully combined with green notes.

Flower Head has very clean, fresh, and minty vibes, so it'll be great in spring to early summer. It has a sweet, minty sensation that evokes a chewing gum vibe, so I suggest sampling it first. It's not for everyone.

It doesn't match my vibe, so I won't personally buy it, but I'd love it on others.

Perfect capture of honeysuckle, I thought at first. Then the tuberose appears so I have to ignore it. Love the subtle lemon note in it.

Byredo Flowerhead ranked in at #5 for me conducting a 23-card scent test. It feels like I've been given something I wanted for a long time.

A beautiful, soft rush of high-scented flowers. Very floral but not sweet/creamy. Poor longevity but might be nice layered with other scents

Um, I will really enjoy wearing this scent on days with "U". People who love flowers very, very much wear it on Wednesdays and on days with "G".

Disappointing, green, citrusy, and sharp tuberose with lily of the valley, no leather... and it lasts and lasts...

Sharp, piercing, citrusy floral overkill that overwhelms all other notes. And it doesn't get any softer, stays intense.

I love flowers, any natural scent! But here it’s way over the top! It feels like everything floral is mixed together... too much!

A bit greener and a bit soapy jasmine scent. Not with the sweetness I desire. The upside: little sweetness.

Disappointment! A blatant synthetic flower mix with an annoying, nagging undertone. Jasmine, tuberose? In your head...in your he..eaaad...only.
