I was really looking forward to Cedar Chic. The many positive opinions raised my expectations quite a bit - perhaps even a little too high.

Unfortunately, for me, this was one of those fragrances where the spark simply refused to ignite. Instead of an elegant, modern cedarwood composition, an herbal, almost unpleasant note was at the forefront from the very beginning. It persisted stubbornly throughout the entire development of the fragrance and kept making me think: Something is bothering me here.

That said, the fragrance is by no means poorly made, and the quality seems high-end. But on my skin, it simply did not harmonize. The longer I wore it, the more certain I became that we were not going to be friends.

For me personally, Cedar Chic is therefore unfortunately significantly overhyped. At that price, I would have hoped for much more - and I definitely would not spend the money on a bottle.

Some fragrances please me, and some catch me at just the right moment. Tilia clearly belongs to the second category for me. The linden blossom is the heart of it - creamy, slightly sweet, and totally natural. What I especially like - it is calm, not loud, not intrusive, but always there. The sillage is just right, you perceive it again and again, in small, fine waves. And the longevity, really top on my skin! In the evening, it is still gently present. For me, Tilia is already more than just a nice summer fragrance.

There are fragrances that impress. And then there are fragrances like Musc K - they quietly sneak into your heart.

To me, it smells like freshly washed skin, wrapped in a soft cashmere sweater. The musk is incredibly creamy and warm, without ever feeling heavy. Delicate flowers and bright woods add an elegant, almost weightless aura to the scent. Everything feels so harmonious that I constantly have to smell my wrist.

The sillage is rather intimate, but that’s exactly what makes its charm. It’s not one that loudly calls for attention - rather, it is discovered when you get closer to someone. These are the kinds of fragrances I love.

The longevity also pleasantly surprised me. On my skin, it lasts about eight hours, and on clothing, I can still perceive it the next day.

Musc K doesn’t feel like a perfume to me, but rather like a feeling of calm, warmth, and security. One of those fragrances where you know after the first wear: This one is here to stay.

This fragrance captivated me from the very first spray: At the beginning, I perceive it primarily as floral - with a beautiful linden blossom that forms the heart of the scent for me. Shortly after, it develops a pleasantly powdery quality and gains a creamy, almost velvety warmth, like sun rays on the skin. In the dry-down, it becomes increasingly elegant and enveloping, without losing its lightness. It is precisely this harmonious interplay of the fragrance notes that makes it so special for me. The longevity is also impressive: On my skin, it lasts about 8 to 10 hours, and on clothing, it is still noticeably present the next day. For me, Sol Salgado definitely has the potential to become (my) signature scent.
