Interesting Facts

The French fragrance brand Ella K Parfums is an expression of the passion and life's work of Sonia Constant, one of the most famous noses in the modern perfume world. The Paris-trained perfumer with Italian-Czech roots began her career at the ISIPCA before moving to Givaudan. There she created iconic fragrances for renowned perfume houses such as Narciso Rodriguez, Guerlain and Mugler for over 20 years. But her work for big brands was just the beginning: in 2017, she founded Ella K Parfums to realize her personal vision of fragrance art and a free, unbound concept - inspired by her love of nature, poetry and the adventure of travel.

On her travels, Sonia Constant is inspired by extraordinary places and moments, always accompanied by her Leica camera and a Moleskine notebook. Whether the scent of flowers and woods, the endless expanse of the desert or the salty breeze of the sea - with Givaudan's Scent Trek® technology, she captures the fleeting impressions directly on location. This is also how "Camelia K" was created - a fragrant homage to the camellia blossom that Constant discovered in northern Vietnam. Blood orange and dragon fruit lend the fragrance an exotic note and convey a longing for distant worlds.

Luxury and sustainability go hand in hand at Ella K: the brand relies on rare, high-quality raw materials that have been awarded the Orpur™ label and stand for the highest purity and quality. The sustainable approach runs through the entire production chain - from the selection of ingredients to environmentally friendly processing and ensuring sustainable supply chains.

The Ella K brand symbol, the dragonfly, was designed by Japanese artist Senjiro Nakata as a stylized "K". It is intended to summarize the label's core values: Change, growth and closeness to nature.
