Creamy Floral Dream with a Certain Something
The Architect of Sensuality reached me in a beautiful golden bottle, and just the packaging was already a highlight.
Quickly unwrapped, and I generously applied the fragrance to my wrist.
My first thought was: Meh.
Somehow I expected more from Sensuality. I love citrus notes, but the first hint of bergamot feels a bit off in the overall concept and seems to be in a small race with the other notes that are still very much in the background. For a brief moment, the fragrance has a slightly chemical quality. But nothing to the extent that I want to wash it off. The second note I can clearly identify is, to my surprise, sandalwood. This makes a lot of sense as a balance to the citrus, but I didn't expect it at this point.
Only then, after about 15 minutes, do all the creamy, floral notes unfold that elevate this fragrance to a whole new level.
On one hand, there is the radiance. The Architect is incredibly present, but without a headache-inducing note. It has a harmony and softness that I find exceptional yet still very pleasing.
As it develops, it becomes very rounded, and the initial impression is completely swept away and replaced by a very, very positive, rounded overall impression. I don't explicitly smell the honey or hibiscus - but overall, the fragrance is woody - floral - soft.
It reminds me of the DNA of Musk Therapy by Initio or Crystal Noir by Versace.
Both fragrances also have something creamy - citrusy and are overall very rounded.
But the Architect of Sensuality is, for me, the warmest and most sensual of this fragrance family, without becoming overwhelming. I consider it a good candidate for cool summer days, warm spring days, and also for sunny autumn. Generally, a fragrance for people who appreciate elegance in their lives. Architect of Sensuality is a fragrance that works with understatement and thus stands out from many other compositions.
Overall, definitely worth a test, perhaps even a work of art, which I would love to incorporate the entire bottle into my collection, as it is also a real eye-catcher.

Already said it all?
Lira is a fragrance that has already been written about a lot.
That's why I don't want to write anything about the lemon cake vibe of this little masterpiece.
Nor about the fantastic longevity or the outstanding radiance of this scent.
What fascinates me the most instead is the juiciness of the blood orange, which comes across as incredibly authentic and unsynthetic. Like fresh orange oil for burners during the Christmas season. What also impresses me greatly is the balance of jasmine, cinnamon, and licorice. All of this can be sensed, all of this gives an almost relaxed Ylang Ylang vibe overall. But above all, it prevents the perfume from slipping into cloying sweetness.
Gourmand, yes. Edible, definitely. But not overly sweet, not excessive, and thus still more perfume than an afternoon coffee companion.
In summary - a really great composition.

Flower Clouds and Cotton Candy - A Light Summer Gourmand with a Clear Message
Magnolias in spring are always a very special sight.
The huge purple-white flowers that hold a gentle pink shimmer in the center.
They quickly fade away, but the short time is worth it.
The magnolia in Aura White Magnolia is not a quick bloomer; in fact, it is quite long-lasting, contrary to the floral dream that often fades so soon.
When I read the statements and reviews here, I was briefly put off. Pure vanilla without anything else would have made me regret my blind buy of the magnificent Machica, a lovely perfume here.
But the offer was too tempting, and the 8.1 in combination with the fragrance notes was just too good not to try.
Fortunately, I must say!
The scent starts with a pleasantly unsynthetic floral note for me. I am not familiar with magnolia scent, but it smells white and beautiful. A little zesty note in between makes
Aura White Magnolia just interesting enough to avoid being banal, while still keeping it in that perfect, not too much continuum between flowers, sweetness, and freshness.
Are there actually fresh gourmands?
If not - this one would qualify for me because despite the cotton candy-fluffed vanilla, it does not overwhelm or become too cloying.
The progression is quite linear, but I have a feeling of swirling with it. Sometimes the sugar and vanilla catch me, sometimes the yuzu, sometimes the flower, as if these notes are circling around me. Perfectly united and yet clearly distinguishable.
I am currently testing it at 8 degrees Celsius outside, but in spring or early summer, I can also imagine the scent being fabulous.
Plus, the price is really hard to complain about, and a decent bottle - what more could you want!
I believe it would also make a great gift for people who like it sweet, but not too sweet.

Perfection
Paragon.
"A person or thing that is perfect or has an extremely large amount of a particular good characteristic." Someone who is truly a good person. A knightess in shining armor.
The word comes from the Italian "paragone" and originally described a black stone used to determine the quality of gold (Please don't ask me how!)
The name has something lyrical, classic. Rare in German, but even in English it sounds a bit archaic.
Thus, the name first caught my attention.
This gem belongs alongside "Musk Therapy | Initio" and
Rehab to the Hedonist line.
A hedonist, as you may have heard, is someone whose senses and pursuits are aimed at pleasure. Something that can certainly be attributed to this highly esteemed community. I myself feel quite like a hedonist when it comes to fine fragrances.
I have yet to test Rehab, while I found Musk Therapy nice, but nothing more.
However, Paragon...
But let's start from the beginning.
The fragrance was sent to me at lightning speed by a wonderful sharing partner.
Upon arrival, I sprayed it immediately. And I must say... wow.
Opening
The fragrance starts fruity, fresh, herbal, but not cold. Soft, round, a little sweet, but not at all gourmand. Overall, it feels infinitely natural. I perceive the fruity plum, but mainly as a small fruit basket. Normally, my journey would end here, as I usually only enjoy fruits as dessert, except for lemon. Here, nestled in the fresh sage and lavender, it is merely the grove where a gentle breeze carries the scent of sun-ripened fruits as one lies down in the sage bed to rest.
Development
Paragon develops linearly and very beautifully. After about an hour, the fragrance grounds itself, the wind calms, and the woody notes take over. Even here, the fragrance remains lovely and warm. Pepper, which usually brings a certain coolness, I honestly do not smell.
The Finale
Towards the end, the memory of fruits is still present, but it sinks into a melange of sandalwood, palo santo, and oud. I love the entire progression and could simply indulge in it forever.
Overall, I give Paragon my highest praise.
The only thing I would wish for, given the price, is a bit better longevity.
But: an absolute balm for the soul, wellness at its finest, and definitely not a scent you smell everywhere.
Massively underrated, in my opinion - definitely worth testing!

Once upon a December
Dancing bears, painted wings
Things I almost remember
And a song someone sings
Once upon a December
Someone holds me safe and warm
Horses prance through a silver storm
Figures dancing gracefully
Across my memory
Far away, long ago
Glowing dim as an ember
Things my heart used to know
Once upon a December
Someone holds me safe and warm
Horses prance through a silver storm
Figures dancing gracefully
Across my memory
Far away, long ago
Glowing dim as an ember
Things my heart used to know
Things it yearns to remember
And a song someone sings
Once upon a December
Remember me...
A memory, a dream?
In any case, a journey.
And even though the perfume house originates from France, Remember Me transports me to the fairy-tale realm of the Tsars, which is Russia in the story of Anastasia.
It is a fragrance full of splendor, magic, warmth, and enchantment.
A scent that promises sleigh rides, lures you into deep forests, and quietly whispers secrets in alcoves.
Remember me reached me as an addition in a sharing, and I now have a second decant that I cannot get enough of at the moment.
The small number of reviews here surprises me - it is indeed a fine, extraordinary, delicious fragrance that has been composed with great finesse and clearly stands out from the crowd.
It gives me vibes of
Gris Charnel Eau de Parfum. Not at all in terms of the scent, structure, or projection.
But
Remember Me also has something very special, extraordinary, that you don't find on every corner.
The progression of the fragrance is a journey.
It first leads out of the palace into the open air. There it is fresh, zesty. A bit of cold wind that gives a red face while riding on the sleigh - here in the form of ginger and lemon. The spiciness is already balanced from the start with cardamom, which drapes over it like a warm fur hat.
The scent is warm and fresh at the same time.
Something floral joins in after the first quarter hour. But so subtle and light that it feels more like a quickly passed bouquet than a field you are approaching. Perhaps it is the gift of a lover with a brief, breathtaking dance in the ballroom, fleeting like a dream.
In contrast to the tea with milk and sweet pastries that is served after the dance. Tangible and present. It spreads in the beautiful, wood-paneled hall and in its entirety offers calm, security, and strength - for the next tasks that may come.
Remember Me is art, magic, and a dream in winter.
One that you love to remember again and again.
