Compost Sting
Earth and compost. Dirt and mushrooms. I enjoy this scent quite a bit. Prism Head opens unapologetically with an air-conditioned blast of compost (a pleasant kind), cannabis, dirt, and earthy mushrooms. This scent brings many nostalgic memories back of my childhood. When I wear this, I've become the curious kid I once was, playing in the dirt and watching the little critters moving around.

If your nose can stand the sting, there's also a nice citrus undertone with patchouli that brings freshness to the overwhelming earthiness.

No animal notes to my nose. Not the greatest performance for a full day's use but has more than enough strength (≈7 hours) with this sort of scent profile.

Overall, this is obviously not a safe blind-buy but still a very interesting fragrance.

Juicy, fruity, floral, but something synthetic too
I had gotten a free sample of Elle Anniversary at my local boutique. While never having smiled the original Elle for comparison, I get a bit of an understanding of what the Elle DNA is about: florals and soft fruits. However, comparing the notes between the two fragrances, I notice that the Anniversary is much more fruit-heavy than the flor-iginal.

I get a blast of synthetic lychee and licorice at the start, along with some bubbly bergamot. A slight sort of saltiness starts after five minutes, which builds slowly and tickles my nostrils.

A nice fruity, floral scent that has a strange synthetic quality that doesn't rest with me well.
Beautiful bottle but absurd pricing. This fragrance does not last or project much. Two or three hours of fairly strong projection and it completely disappears by the seventh or eighth hour.

I had given my sample away to my neighbor (she's a peony and licorice fan) and she loves it.

For her: uplifting, standout heels
The last of the Roberto Ugolini fragrances I haven't reviewed. Complex, stinging, and different are what I remember about my first experience with High Heel White.
Granted, I haven't smelled this on the flesh in a while (two years plus) but it contains some very nice memories.

I'd mentioned before that this house was my introduction to not only niche perfumes, but perfumes in general. My ratings are based on my experience with this discovery of perfumery.

I recently found the last remaining drops of an official sample and luckily it still carried a faint whiff without the need to pull it apart to smell. Even now, nice memories came back. I had given the full sample to a dear childhood friend of mine that I don't see very often, so smelling the heavy galbanum and main spiciness from the coriander and cardamom brought back a wonderful comfort. The heaviness of the galbanum brings strength to this long-lasting fragrance. I remember being able to smell this the following morning and throughout the day on her.

I have almost no knowledge on female fragrances so I have nothing I can personally compare this to. That being said, I would classify this as the female version of Loafer. Spicy, soapy-clean, and sharp. This is not an easy wear as it's pretty bold but I think it adds a nice clean touch to a woman, with an uplifting air of power behind the strong florals.

Take your revenge out on me, peach
Listen, Peach, if you feel the need to attack someone, it can be me. You're my favorite fruit, so all will be forgiven. Unless, of course, this "revenge" you speak of is in the form of cavities, because Peach's Revenge is the sweetest peachy/fruity fragrance I've tried yet.

Quite a few spicy notes are also blended in, such as ginger, cinnamon, and cardamom, and bark is included too (which I find kind of cool, although I don't think I can detect it). These notes are very subtle to add a very nice touch of spice. Iris adds in an even slighter powderiness that I only detect if I'm trying to.

Longevity and overall power are great. I've worn this before bed and woken up to it still proudly there.

Not much else to say about this fragrance, besides peach rings candy meets Kern's Nectar. Realistic fruit smell? Not really. Delicious? Absolutely. Peach's Revenge is definitely an overly sweet fragrance which I love.

Dirty, dusty, fussy, musty; must-try, muddy, lusty leather
Far less than a year ago, I would have never believed that I'd wear something like Veles. Imagine a couple of scenarios: sleeping in a barn and waking up, marinating overnight with the fumes of various animals and hay. You sit in the smell for about an hour before heading out. The fumes stick to your old leather coat. This funk is more than enough for a loud "Whoa!!" but keeps you sniffing again and again.

Or, you just finished a long game of American football. It went into overtime, you were already exhausted by halftime but you needed to keep trying your hardest to win. After scoring the winning touchdown and celebrating, you head back into the locker rooms to take the sweaty padding, helmet, gloves, etc. off. Dirty cleats. That's the opening funk of Veles. At least, that was my experience.

This funkiness clears within 15-30 minutes (I've had various experiences) and becomes a much more tolerable, but still dirty, leather. Maybe dirt and leather combined. There's also a thick smokiness, presumably from the birch tar. This fragrance is heavy-duty, blood and guts, basement-training funk.

This is the stuff stinky lovers' dreams are made of, with a very respectable performance.

The chart (as of this writing) is spot-on. Animalic, earthy, leathery, spicy, smoky, woody, and resinous.

This, to me, is purely masculine. Not sure why this is marketed as unisex. I'm unsure what woman would want to wear this on the regular, or ever lol! But if she does, welcome to the funk club!

Veles, for fans of bold!
