Pure Despair
It opens with a spice note that is unfamiliar to me, which I tried to identify; I searched through my spice cabinet containing about 45 spices for this particular scent but found nothing. This annoyed me, so I started researching online, but unfortunately without success; everywhere it just says "exotic spices." So if anyone knows the spice blend, I find it delicious and would cook with it :D
Well, I had to come to terms with it and increasingly realized the rose that presented itself to me, which is unusual for a "coffee break" scent. On the other hand, I know it from my mother; she likes to add syrups to her coffee, and it doesn't matter whether it's hazelnut, crème brûlée, or even rose. The warmth of the amber warms the coffee well, which now gently unfolds its own aroma. However, the other scents overshadow the poor coffee quite a bit.
In the end, I came to the conclusion to simply stop analyzing and enjoy the scent like a nice cup of coffee. I then took out my Chemex and brewed myself a cup to go with it; that was the best thing I could do in this situation.

Lost Alice in Wonderland
First, let’s talk about the technical aspects. In all my sharings, I always fill half a ml for myself and test how many TZ sprays correspond to one spray from the bottle. Here, it takes about 3 sprays of the TZ to match the amount of one spray from the bottle.
The sillage is not excellent but definitely good, and the longevity of the wonderful heart note could be longer; it lasted about 2-3 hours before transitioning into the base note, which is also amazing, and after a total of 8 hours, the scent comes to an end for my nose.
Now, let’s talk about the fragrance that truly touches me.
It is a magical scent; it starts very unusually, lightly, and quickly builds into a floral nutty aroma. I would almost say that the nutty seed/grain notes are from ambrette seeds, but a quick internet search indicates that ambrette seeds, from the musk mallow, smell more musky and floral sweet. So, it must come from the wonderfully, and not at all sharp, incorporated pepper. So, it starts off very nicely. This top note disappears after about 10 minutes, and the incredibly interesting heart note slowly unfolds. At first, I thought of coffee, of cake. There’s the cleanliness of iris soap or rather a tablecloth washed in iris soap ;) and then it clicked, there was the enlightenment. The fragrance is called Lost Alice, and it reminded me of a beautifully set white coffee table in a fairy tale world, with flowers and carrot cake. It was the world of Alice in Wonderland with the Mad Hatter over a cup of black tea. And suddenly, I was small again; the testosterone level drops, and the little boy from back then, who loved Alice in Wonderland as well as Winx Club, Barbie, Tinkerbell... resurfaced. I was emotionally transported back to that innocent and simply beautiful time, and everything became magical, imaginative, peaceful, simply beautiful again. I find it incredibly amazing how scents and then memories that come up (even if the memory is not directly tied to the scent itself but to a fitting situation) can touch and change you so deeply.
But I’m not a man of many words, so before I digress further, I’ll move on to the drydown. It is simply beautifully soft and gentle. If I now connect the scent with colors, it slowly transitions into a light beige and then into a cream white. So, beautifully clean with a hint of sweet spice and a lovely floral note that I don’t know, but if there is a plant that emits the scent of this drydown (which unfortunately there probably isn’t, as crossing broom and sandalwood would be... difficult, and getting creamy milk in there, is there even a plant that smells like milk?), then I might turn my black thumb into a green one with a lot of work and keep this plant in my bedroom forever. I am thrilled.
There are many fragrances that are more extravagant, louder, more authentic, more gourmand,... but this one... it is simply poetically beautiful; I have found Alice, she is no longer lost, she belongs to me.

Baiana - Bakermat
The scent reminds me of the song Baiana by Bakermat, my Portuguese is a bit rusty but I think he’s just singing about showing off his girl from Bahia like a club bro and then running away with her. Well, I heard the song back then because the melody is quite nice :D
When I spray it, it feels like sunscreen to me, then a fruity South Sea cocktail with old, frayed workbench wood like the kind you had in school in the workshop. This association fades quickly, then it becomes a creamy woody floral scent, so the opening and the wood note merge into something softer of both. Then it transforms a bit, from the frayed wood countertop it becomes a cracked brown coconut, so the coarse texture and the coconut smell together in a milk or low-carb zero sugar ice cream. Mixed with many different tropical flowers. In my mind's eye, there’s a South Sea idyll with wide white sandy beaches, such clear water that you can see the coral reef 10 meters out still in 5 meters of depth, behind you various palms and bushes full of Plumeria Frangipani. The coconut scent also becomes more intense over time, but after 3 hours, unfortunately, most of it is already gone and only perceptible very close to the skin.
Nice scent, I personally wouldn’t wear it (at least not when I go out and come into contact with others) but I would love to smell it on a woman.
PS: my scent rating of 8.5 mainly refers to the first 1-1.5 hours of the fragrance, after that it can be reapplied and it gets an 8.5 again ;)

Fragrance Blending
When I sprayed it on, I thought to myself, "Oh God, oh my God, this smells so heavenly beautiful, I just want to keep sniffing it ❤️" and 2 minutes later, the magic was gone, boring fruity uniformity. It does smell good, but the opening raised expectations too high, making an otherwise delicious scent feel dull and disappointing. It's like being on a date where everything is going great, you lean in for a kiss, and you think, "I have to go, what's happening here, it feels like a dog is slobbering on me." After that, the whole mood is ruined for you, and even if it continues and isn't bad in any way, it's just not the same as before after such a high fall in expectations.
Suddenly, there's a harsh cut, and now the perfume smells only mainstream, it could easily be the scent of a women's shampoo.
The orange blossom dominates, which I personally find nice; I generally enjoy (blood) oranges, mandarins, and grapefruits in perfumes. But overall, it is a nice yet boring scent that I would definitely buy if it cost a third of what it does now.
And regarding the fragrance pyramid, I would have also expected something along the lines of mango-passion fruit in the scent. It's not listed above, but maybe it's still in there.
It's nice that it lasts a bit longer than the other 2 Phebo fragrances I have already tested.

"But it was only 2 sprays, really"
Rescue words: "But it was only 2 sprays, really." I was toasting to the last exams yesterday with my new neighbor and his housemates (all metalheads and rock fans who have zero interest in perfume), and I thought, since I recently got the Stronger with You Absolutely bottle, which I had already tested thanks to a sharing, I would wear it. I wanted to do my usual 5 sprays but thought, the guys are not used to perfume, I don't want it to be overpowering, so just 2 small sprays. Three minutes after I arrived, I was immediately asked, "Hey, did you just come from a perfume shop? You really doused yourself." I replied, "It's just 2 small sprays" (I had to say that more than once throughout the evening). The conversation continued when it came up again about my oh-so-strong 2 spray scent, which I personally find very subtle, and we talked generally about perfumes. I also mentioned Parfumo and that I have a collection of about 90 fragrances, that it's my hobby... the next comment was, "Ahh, so you sprayed 2 sprays of each of your 90, that makes sense."
Well, it was an uncomfortable evening in that regard, which taught me that sometimes less is more and to think about what you wear and where and with whom. Fortunately, it quickly turned into a discussion about how drunk one of my neighbors was, as he had been downing beer after beer since 11 am after the exam, and at some point, he embarrassingly called his whole family-first his sister, then his father, then his mother, and finally his grandmother-and it was just cringeworthy. But his grandmother, as a bar owner, had the best reaction when her grandson drunkenly slurred into the phone, "NO, I'M DRUNK!"
Well, that could also pass as a diary entry, and I don't really know why I'm including it in the review; it just had to be written down :D Sorry, but now to the scent. The fragrance has an incredibly delicious sweet-nutty smell; it’s almost too overpoweringly artificially sweet, but I think it's great. It starts off beautifully with a sweet rum scent but has a slightly "piercing" note, so it has something akin to heartburn in the nose when you take a deep sniff. After that, as mentioned, it becomes delicious, a bit light and floral (lavender is listed, but I think it smells more like lilac, a very subtle lilac note incorporated) and ends with caramel and nuts, or here chestnuts are mentioned, why not, then chestnuts it is; it smells deliciously nutty with caramel. If there were a vanilla note and something cooling in it, you could think of it as pecan or walnut ice cream with caramel sauce. The longevity is really good; I had 2 sprays on my neck yesterday, applied at 2 pm, and started my way home at 11:30 pm, and it was still present. The last comment about the oh-so-strong scent came around 9 pm, so the sillage remains quite strong for a long time. But it could also be that the guys are just very sensitive when it comes to perfume :D
PS: Everything was very COVID-safe, as we had all been sitting at our desks for the past few weeks, and in our city, the COVID situation is generally quite good, and 3 out of the 4 of us from the 2 households took the COVID rapid test this week, so please no comments about a COVID party or anything like that ;)
