never again!
at some point i had to do something like that, curiosity and adventurousness made me do the unthinkable: a fragrance purchase via a half-silk online shop.

actually i had no serious reason to do something like that, untested samples of great scents are still here, more are on the way. but while researching a certain scent composition i came across this scent over an incomprehensible way and suddenly the idea was there to try something like that compared to the usually quite expensive brand scents.

as a test, so to speak, to see if i actually notice a difference in quality, the comparison with renowned fragrances as a calibration instrument for the internal evaluation scale. that's my plan.

since profumo didn't have anything really relevant here (very suspicious, as I thought) and there were no souk offers, only courageous daring helped (seldom does it good).

on the marketing website fragluxe.com the fragrance is described as follows: "... It is a woody fragrance featuring notes of citrus, amber, cedar, tonka bean, and vanilla with a strong base of sandalwood, and a touch of pinewood. ..."

well: apart from a lot of spicy wood, not even completely unpleasant at first, i didn't notice much, the expected further nuances were missing, but spicy wood is nothing bad...

until the headache started - ouch! i would say, i probably endured about 20 minutes, then i had to do the dishes "elegantly" - not least because of the vehement protests and the threat of divorce due to the unacceptable olfactory warfare.

the fabric has an extremely breathtaking effect in the truest sense of the word, even if unfortunately it is not at all advantageous for either of us.

in this respect i can't contribute much to its durability - except that it is hard to fear that it will correspond to the sillage. and that after vigorously soaping and scrubbing my skin may be crab red, but it still smells and the obtrusive wooden beam is still standing crosswise in the room.

very exhausting. for me never again such a test, never again blind purchase in the cheap segment!

but in the meantime it doesn't hurt that much anymore, and the bottle in the garbage makes me breathe a sigh of relief. sorry, but for me never again!

not mine, damn it...
parallel test to habit rouge, but it wasn't a great night...

explosive top note, very soon a feeling of spicy and soapy "gentlemanly scent"...

too banal and sweaty virile for me, puha!

then something becomes more tender and develops on my skin something to the better, against spicy-virile can be said as a man not much. or maybe nevertheless?!

in the end, derdiedas current antaeus remains spicy, soapy, sweetish and soft, but i can't say that this is a great development.

enormous durability: in the morning still clearly present with this spicy and soapy, but not pleasant for me.

i don't find this mythological giant of chanel particularly sophisticated - what a pity

unfortunately exhausting, despite best will
a long-proven classic? popular and highly rated among perfumers? urgently test it! one evening then i had the opportunity.

hoppala, an extremely opulent prelude: intensely floral and spicy rose pelargonium fullminant. however, with a strangely chemical, somehow fruity note between toilet stone and vacuum cleaner bag perfume (ouch, don't hit it!)...

with the persistent rose-like, heavy spicy-sweet hypersillage it reminds me (unfortunately unpleasantly) of penhaligon's hammam bouquet, that's no fragrance for the (all)day...

hui, sweet and mild at the end and for a long time like that - in the morning it was no longer detectable, so it was almost conciliatory, even if it was not for me. *sigh*

schmidtchen schmeichler :)
i am currently testing two different fillings of dior homme intense from the souk on my two forearms: taster left, taster right, left, right, left, right, left, right, hmmm... left, right, left, right, left, right, left, right, aaah...

after a short, to me freshly appearing prelude it becomes spicy on the skin, then fast and lastingly flattering intensive-sweet-vanilla, further after that gently sweet-tartly-spicy... during an earlier test in a perfumery, where I sprayed the skin in the evening, this gentle sweetness caressed my skin in the morning just as much, largely unchanged, so durability is given.

on the left, the virginia cedar seems to me to be spiced up a bit more, but also overall the fragrance (as announced by the bottler for the 2015 version in advance) seems to me to be much stronger, even with more sillage. on the right, it is supposed to be a more recent edition (without date) - i find it more reserved, less spacey and rather less spicy introverted delicate sweet, also delicious.

if you like soft sweetness without end, you should taste this fragrance in any version. just maybe not too much of it - an endlessly powerful vanilla flag might even be over your head at some point... ;)

for now dhi stays on my list - and further on in the test!

overall unpleasant - maybe a tilted mini?!
tja: freshly applied fresh spicy, not particularly peculiar, develops for my perception extremely soapy, pushy, piercing, cheap, increasingly sweet... i will not test it from this older mini again, once and never again! ;)
