Love you to The Moon and back...
I’ve been doing this for a while now and must confess that countless fragrances and thus also an infinite amount of money have passed through my hands.
The Moon stays. It doesn’t just linger in your mind due to its unique perfection, but also because of the deduction of the purchase amount. So much for that...

This fragrance is different. It’s not for beginners. You have to understand, know, and learn to love this scent. Because once you’ve made friends with it, it proves to be an exceedingly present, loyal, and enduring companion at night who will definitely sleep with or after you.
(You won’t last longer than it does ;-) )

The oud is very animalistic at first, with the raspberry clearly present. "The typical Ombre Nomade DNA," one might think, and then, annoyed, looks online to see how much they can still sell the bottle for...
But no - this is perfection. This is the benchmark for oud and fruity notes.
Hardly any other oud fragrance is so strict yet simultaneously so smooth, fine, and noble, giving you the constant feeling of "Yes - today I’m wearing something expensive."

True masters were at work here. Only the finest ingredients were combined here. A masterpiece par excellence was created here.

You can strongly feel from the bottle and the packaging where the focus has been placed. The content. And this content will remind you every time that it was worth emptying your pockets for this.

Yes - I love you to "the Moon" and back!

Musk Lave - The King Among "Musks"
Everyone wants it, but hardly anyone gets it.
Everyone is on the lookout for it, but hardly anyone gets to see this Siberian deer from 1920 and can snap it up.

This fragrance definitely does a lot to you. First, you have this little box in your hand, which is wonderfully soft. Not big, but finely made.
Then you open the box like with expensive watch cases, and there it is, nestled in beautiful fabric, the most beautiful bottle I know of.
It is truly stunning, beautifully small, the cap is a work of art in itself, and the metal patch with the incredibly cool lettering fits like a glove. The contents visually resemble old motor oil. :D
When you then shift your gaze upward, you start to read. You can't help but be amazed, and I find that Siberian deer musk and real lavender oil from 1915-1920 leave quite an impression. Immediately, you have this "okay, very carefully!" thought in your head, and that's somehow wonderful.
It conveys to you, just by its presence without even having smelled it, that you are holding something truly special. And that makes you happy :)

Before we spray, I recommend everyone to swap their white top for a black one - the old motor oil theme and all that ;-).

Everyone ready?
Boom!

Lavender fields open up as beautifully as you can imagine them around 1920,
Musk sweeps through the field and spreads out. Beautiful soft animalic notes supported by a powdery hint of iris. The notes are intense. Nothing was spared here.
And yes, for ALD standards, it is still quite likable...

I must say, what catches me much more about this fragrance is everything around it rather than the scent itself. I love having it as a "collector's item" on my shelf. I look at it, smell it, and happily put it back.

You can tell that a lot of thought went into this fragrance all around. The packaging speaks not only for itself but also with you. The bottle, as described above, is a masterpiece. The contents are just as fine and high-quality as what you have already enjoyed from the outside.

Whoever has it can consider themselves lucky. Whoever has it should enjoy it to the fullest.
A wonderful overall product that, for me, is unmatched...

Honor where honor is due.
This fragrance is where it all really began.
The entry into the niche world. The entry into completely different price ranges. The entry into a hobby and yes, a small addiction to special and unique "other" scents.

I smelled it on a buddy of mine, it was a beautiful summer day and we were sitting in an ice cream café in the afternoon. The scent fit perfectly.
"Okay - I need to get this!"

I didn't buy a sample. I didn't order a small bottle more or less blindly, NO, I directly ordered the 500ml decanter back then, and when the amount was charged (which today would certainly be a steal), I felt a little queasy. But well - it just had to be. I wanted it to never run out.

My initial happiness with the fragrance and the 500ml decanter only became apparent much later when I was already much deeper into the subject. I even got a super awesome batch and also got 500ml of it. It is super fruity, relatively long-lasting, and although it feels like everyone owns and wears it now, I still love it like on the first day.

Aventus simply combines the scent notes that a man needs to receive a great, sincere compliment from a woman (at least in the summer). The fruity, the woody-masculine, the fresh.
Yes, this doesn't make it super niche, but at least the price speaks for the conscience of wearing a niche fragrance and thus being "different" from everyone else.

Aventus is also great for layering. When I eventually bought the Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait de Parfum (you can find the review for it on my page) and realized that the two really harmonize incredibly well together, my love for Aventus (and BR 540) grew even more.

For me, Aventus remains a significant milestone in the niche world. It will never leave my shelf, and even if I have come to know better variants in terms of longevity and sillage (though not cheaper), it will always remain with me as a keepsake of the start of this wonderful hobby.

For all the men out there who have not yet come into contact with this amazing fragrance, dare to try it. I can assure you with a high degree of certainty that you at least won't dislike it. ;-)

The Legendary King Naxos
Naxos. N-A-X-O-S.

He can do it all. He can be 100ml for around €200. He can shine with gigantic longevity. He has a convincing sillage. The bottle is beautiful. The box is just as beautiful. He pleases both men and women. He pleases many.

He impresses with honey and tobacco at the highest level. A little bit of tonka joins in, which brings out the vanilla even better.
The entire composition has been forged for one purpose: to please as many as possible.

Now we have chosen our king. The whole land will be flooded with his name and his good deeds. But...
Everything has an end.

Much acclaim in the perfume world unfortunately often also means, after a certain period of time, decay.
"Oh, Naxos - yeah cool." , "Ah Naxos - yeah I can't smell that anymore", "Does anyone have an older batch of Naxos? - the new ones look almost like water"...

The king becomes weaker and older over time. One wishes for a successor. His days are numbered. But he will always be remembered as an incredibly good king.

I continually enjoy my almost full old Naxos bottle with its beautifully dark amber-colored contents and will keep this in mind as the king, enjoying it to the fullest when wearing it :) !

Captain Black Afgano reports for duty.
Black Afgano is a fragrance where you should take "Black" more literally than "Afgano," not just because of its color but also because of its DNA.
Speaking of color - please don’t spray this on white clothing. That’s not a good idea...

When you think of "Afgano," you quickly associate it with hash or weed taste/scent. However, here it is only faintly hinted at, which is why I won’t elaborate further.

Instead, we should focus on the topic of "Black." Because when it comes to "Black," I have quite a few thoughts. Captain Jack Sparrow or Captain Black Afgano? - whatever - I hope you understand my thought bridge.
The scent is totally dark, balsamic, woody, and resinous. Jack Sparrow smells exactly like this in my mind. The damp wooden beams of the ship, the unwashed leather uniform that also carries something dark with it. In the air, there’s a resinous-balsamic scent of incense sticks.

Back in our time, this fragrance works incredibly well with a black leather jacket, jeans, and boots. The scent will effortlessly accompany you all day long and stand faithfully by your side. Yes, you will be noticed, and no, you don’t need to worry about whether the scent lasts long enough.

If you are the type for such a fragrance, you will have an incredible amount of fun with it. However, if you can’t identify with what I’ve described at all, I would rather advise you against the fragrance because it is quite interested in making statements. ;-)

If tested, you should definitely have it.
