You are walking through the narrow streets of Florence and stumble across a small perfumery called Alessandro Serpico.

As I was looking for a more citrusy fragrance, I first tested all the maritime, fresh scents with lots of bergamot and lemon - not really my cup of tea.
Then, finally, I smelled the Fico again and bought it straight away without giving it much thought.

I had never really had fig fragrances on my radar before, but this one is very creamy and fresh in the opening but slightly sweet in the heart note - a very pleasing fragrance and perfect for the streets of Florence.

Since I'm currently wearing all three of the fragrances on the back of my wrist and crook of my arm, here's a direct comparison for classification purposes:

For me, Forever Love combines the freshness of bergamot with ripe fruits, whereby the focus is more on the ripe and sweet fruits in my opinion. Afternoon Swim | Louis Vuitton" focuses more on the citrus note, but combines it with a light but definite tea note, which makes the fragrance even more appealing. The Pinnace Oryn has a strong citrus note, particularly in the opening, thanks to the mandarin, bergamot and orange, but is a little closer to the Afternoon Swim in the drydown.

In summary, the three canidates share a similar DNA, but with different characteristics. While the Forever Love focuses on sweet, ripe fruit, the Afternoon Swim has a tea note. The Pinnace Oryn is much more citrusy but absolutely worth it for the price.

This is the first association that comes to my mind immediately after spraying. As a child, I used to love going hiking with my family in South Tyrol in the summer months. Later in the afternoon, we stopped off at an old Italian lady's guesthouse, which had exactly the same distinctive note as the perfume - in an absolutely positive way. Half under the trees, half in the sun, the red rivers, cool lemonade and carefree.

The fragrance goes in a direction that I haven't yet experienced in such detail. I can actually smell everything listed in the ingredients, which is mega! And it also harmonizes very well with each other. The different types of tea, the bergamot, the slight spiciness from the ginger - the fragrance is a wow effect when you first smell it.

However, I'm not sure whether I would wear it often because, in my opinion, there are better alternatives for all situations where you could wear it - but, as is so often the case, that's just a matter of opinion.

For me, however, it is a very nice tea-like, slightly fresh, slightly spicy, slightly floral fragrance that absolutely has its raison d'être. As I have never smelled Imagination, I can't say anything about the similarity of the two fragrances.

I love the fresh fruity note at the beginning. That was also the reason I bought it. However, the longer it is on the skin - especially indoors - the more the floral note comes out. I can't really tell if it's the rose, but the floral note comes out very strong and almost pungent, so I had to wash it off again. Some compare the fragrance, at least in terms of intensity, with Xerjoff's Erba Pura. I would not subscribe to this in detail, as Hibiscus does not have any of the synthetic characteristics of Erba Pura (at least not in my opinion).
In the end, the fragrance is now unfortunately only here in my collection and is no longer used...too bad
