Impulse Buy Florence
Walking through the narrow streets of Florence, I stumbled upon a small perfumery named Alessandro Serpico.
A little shop with a beautiful selection!
Since I was looking for a more citrusy scent, I first tested all the maritime, fresh fragrances with plenty of bergamot and lemon - none of them really suited me.
Then, as a final touch, I smelled the Fico again and without much thought, I bought it right away.

Until now, I had never really considered fig scents, but this one is very creamy and fresh in the opening yet slightly sweet in the heart note - a very pleasing fragrance and perfect for the streets of Florence.

Oryn/LV/Pana Dora
Since I am currently wearing all three fragrances on my wrist, back of my hand, and inner elbow, here is a direct comparison:

Forever Love for me combines the freshness of bergamot with ripe fruits, with the focus, in my opinion, being more on the ripe and sweet fruits. Afternoon Swim leans more towards the citrus note, but it combines this with a light yet distinct tea note, which makes the fragrance even more appealing. Pinnace Oryn is particularly strong in the opening with the citrus note from mandarin, bergamot, and orange, but in the drydown, it aligns a bit more with "Afternoon Swim | Louis Vuitton."

In summary, the three candidates share a similar DNA, but with different expressions. While Forever Love focuses on sweet, ripe fruits, Afternoon Swim features a tea note. Pinnace Oryn is significantly more citrusy but absolutely worth it for the price.

Hiking through South Tyrol
This is the first association that comes to my mind right after spraying. As a child, I used to enjoy hiking in South Tyrol with my family during the summer months. Later in the afternoon, we would stop at the guesthouse of an old Italian lady, who had exactly the distinctive note that the perfume displays - absolutely meant in a positive way. Half under the trees, half in the sun, the red tiles, cool lemonade, and carefree.

I think I like it...
but I'm still not quite sure.
The scent goes in a direction that I haven't experienced in such detail before. I can actually pick out everything listed in the ingredients, which is amazing! And it harmonizes very well together. The different types of tea, the bergamot, a slight spiciness from the ginger - the scent is a wow effect upon the first sniff.

However, I'm not sure if I would wear it often because, in my opinion, there are better alternatives for all the occasions where it could be worn - but that's often just a matter of perspective.

For me, it's a very nice tea-heavy, slightly fresh, slightly spicy, slightly floral scent that absolutely has its right to exist. Since I have never smelled Imagination, I can't comment on the similarity between the two fragrances.

Otimo - the Rooibos Tea on an Autumn Day
I believe I first became aware of pernoire through Instagram. Perhaps I occasionally let myself be too easily tempted to order and want to test a fragrance set. On paper, they all sound good.

A few days later, the set was sitting on my table at home, and I was super curious about each individual scent. After the first samples, I noticed that pernoire has a very unique fragrance composition and, as I find, a good recognizability. Finally, it was Otimo's turn...

And what can I say - I think it's pretty amazing! It's rare for a fragrance to blow me away at first sniff. This one did.
The scent is very soft, very autumnal, and totally reminds me of a good rooibos tea. Tonka bean, vanilla, and praline ultimately make it a perfect gourmand fragrance.
My absolute autumn favorite that I will unpack again starting in October :)
