Pinnace Oryn French Avenue

It is a perfume with a completely dominant smell of orange. The orange scent is so natural in this perfume that I can explain its 100% naturalness as being more real and natural than natural orange! In fact, it is a perfume in which you do not smell any orange peel or excess and you only smell a supernatural orange.

I can compare the feeling of this orange gives to those who temporarily die and during that short time they spend in another world; they describe that in that world the colors are much clearer and more beautiful than the colors of this world and the landscapes and trees are much more eye-catching. In my opinion, the orange scent in this perfume also belongs to that world which is much more beautiful; more lovely; more clear and more orange!

Whenever you feel bored and unwell in the summer; immediately go to your perfume shelf and spray this perfume on your skin and clothes; your outlook on life will immediately become positive!

I like the smell of this perfume much more than the smell of Louis Vuitton's Afternoon Swim. In fact, both smells and silage is better than original one.

i purchased this after reading some people say pinnace oryn was a photorealistic orange scent (big fan of that) but am left wanting more with this fragrance.
must say that this is an incredibly weak formula, i’ve never experienced a scent lasting under 2 hours on my skin.
i am an arancia di capri ADP diehard, and i will say that despite my criticisms of this so far it is a bit similar. they have a similar profile of an orange rind and pith, but pinnace oryn has no juice. not a drop or juicy ripeness, instead oryn moves far more floral than others. i’ve read somewhere that they use farnesol in their formulation, which makes this prominent floral note understandable. a realistic level of flowery ripeness would be so much more subtle.
if you smell this without nitpicking over a one-note realism like i do, you’ll probably love this! if viewing this in a more objective sense, it’s a delicate citrusy lightly floral cheapie. inoffensive, not overwhelming, probably great for beginners.
for me, 7/10 on the scent (i’m simply picky), 2 hours max longevity if you overspray, and nose to skin sillage. i’ve seen people complain about the bottle but i enjoy the quirky bottle designs. only comment about it is that it can be hard to hold. price is good, guilt free. recommend if you like oranges!
Edit: I just recently sampled Afternoon Swim by LV, this smells exactly like the middle drydown section of afternoon swim. Identical. The LV scent is more dynamic and develops into different unique scents with time, but for the majority of the wear it smells like this.

As many say this isn’t quite a photorealistic orange but I would say it’s a photorealistic Mandarin, the juice, pulp, rind et al. It’s got a wet freshness to it that takes me back to the natural pool in my grandparents garden before they moved when I was 14 or so. Such a real fruity wetness that this really pulls off.

On my skin it is effectively a one to one of afternoon swim but for me actually lasts longer as this maintains silage for about 6 hours ( although take this with a grain of salt as everything lasts long on my skin).

An easy blind buy given the cheap price and worth it for the summer months.

I didn't think much of it when I ordered this fragrance, as I had tested Afternoon Swim and found its zesty orange-mandarin note to be incredibly pleasant and perfect for summer. However, due to its miserable longevity of only about an hour on the skin, I wasn't ready to shell out nearly 300€. Then I stumbled upon this fragrance online for about 50€ and thought: Why not take the risk? Compared to 290€, it's really a steal.

When it arrived, I sprayed it directly on my skin, expecting to initially perceive somewhat piercing synthetic notes, as I experienced with Armaf Club de Nuit Edt, which starts off very synthetic and with a sharp citrus note as a dupe of Creed Aventus, only to later develop closely to the scent DNA of Creed Aventus. But here, it was completely different.

Right from the start, I could detect this very authentic and zesty orange note mixed with mandarin peels, which Afternoon Swim also has in the opening. The progression of the fragrance remained truly consistent and very close to the original. Spraying the fragrance immediately brought to mind the association of being by the pool on a hot summer day, which I also had with Afternoon Swim. I see the similarity at about 95%, which is really impressive.

The longevity in cooler temperatures is about 3-4 hours on my skin, so it is better suited for summer and warmer conditions.

The only point of criticism from my side is the design of the bottle. Due to its oval shape, it doesn't sit very comfortably in the hand while spraying. Additionally, the shape of the bottle reminds me more of an iron, but these are just minor, rather insignificant points, as the fragrance is simply an incredibly good dupe of Afternoon Swim for a sixth of the price and is definitely worth trying for anyone who loves the DNA of Afternoon Swim but hesitates to buy due to poor longevity and high price.

Since I am currently wearing all three fragrances on my wrist, back of my hand, and inner elbow, here is a direct comparison:

Forever Love for me combines the freshness of bergamot with ripe fruits, with the focus, in my opinion, being more on the ripe and sweet fruits. Afternoon Swim leans more towards the citrus note, but it combines this with a light yet distinct tea note, which makes the fragrance even more appealing. Pinnace Oryn is particularly strong in the opening with the citrus note from mandarin, bergamot, and orange, but in the drydown, it aligns a bit more with "Afternoon Swim | Louis Vuitton."

In summary, the three candidates share a similar DNA, but with different expressions. While Forever Love focuses on sweet, ripe fruits, Afternoon Swim features a tea note. Pinnace Oryn is significantly more citrusy but absolutely worth it for the price.
